British do it best – I had my hair consulted, cut, colored and cared for by Alex, the owner, and was extremely satisified with all the results. My hair used to be dry and lacking of color/shine. It's gorgeous now and my friends/husband have all noticed the big change. I have often read and heard that the British know best when it comes to hair. I believe this to be very true. not worth the cost! – Lauren was my hair stylist and I've got one of the worst hair cut/style ever. The cost of a trim was the same price as a cut. Also the highlights were barely noticeable! She didn't have any recommendations and she kept asking what I wanted to do with my hair but how am I suppose to know exactly what I want? She's the stylist!! She gave a bad service and she totally sucked. It would be a better bet to get hair done from Alex.
Great Salon! – I had my haair colored and cut by Lauren who did a FANTASTIC job! She really listened to what I had to say about how I wanted my hair to turn out and she delivered. I highly recommend Alexander G.

A gem in the city – I decided to try Alexander G. since they won Best Color and Best Salon for 2005. And they definitely live up to this. I'm a new client and the treatment I get at this salon is great. Alex spent 15 min. on my consultation narrowing down all the things I disliked about my hair and hair color. He arrived at a solution that was appealing and then he confirmed this by showing me a picture from a magazine, which was exactly what I was thinking of. I love getting my hair done at this salon. Everyone is very friendly. It's not a hectic, big salon where people don't remember you. They greet me like an olf friend every time. They are fun and warm which makes it easy to relax, and I like the fact that it's away from busy traffic. I get treated very well and I see they give the same respect to other clients too. Besides, the work is amazing and the decor is simple yet sophisticated (very much like top salons in London), so this place gets 5 stars in all areas.
True professionalism and skill – I don't know many women who are consistently happy with their hairdresser but I've been going to Alexander G. for a year and every time, the care taken with my hair is something I've never found anywhere else, and I never feel doubtful sitting in his chair. Great Salon – I went to Alex G. salon yesterday and I still cant stop looking at my hair. I have never seen my hair so beautiful and shine. Lauren did a superb job. As soon as I came to work this morning everybody in the office noticed my gorgeous hair color and I received a lot of complements. For less than 40 minutes, with LOTS of blow-dry, @ $125, I got a haircut that I need therapy to go out. Needless to say after wash it (the blow-dry), there was no style and the cut was rough. Even though I kept mentioning that I was a busy professional and won't spend much time in the morning maintaining hair, the stylist (A.
