Jennifer is the best for short hair! – I went to see Jennifer back in April for my final haircut before I re-located to New York. My hair is very short and cropped and Jennifer always makes it look feminine, well textured, and fresh. She knows that since my hair grows quickly, the texture is thick, and that it's SHORT, it should only be cut with a razor. SHE IS AMAZING WITH HER RAZOR!! A place I call Home. – I saw Alex several times and then decided to try a different salon (even though I was happy with his work; I just have a hard time sticking to one thing). Surpassed my expectation – I recently went to Alexander G. on a recommendation from a friend. I saw Jennifer, senior stylist, for highlights and Alexander for the haircut. They were kind, attentive and the work was great--my hair looks fabulous. The synchronicity and atmosphere was an impressive experience. I completely recommend this salon to anyone.
Fantastic visit #2 – I've now been going to see Jennifer for a little over a year. I wrote about my first experience on this site earlier and how she fixed a disastrous color done at the number one rated salon in SF/Berkeley. I had hoped for more – A positive experience, overall. I called for an appointment and was given one with Jennifer for the following day...well, then they called back and apparently Jennifer couldn't (didn't want to?) do it, so they placed me with Becca...on the same day I called! Great salon. Fantastic service, beautiful work. – After going to the no.2 pick on this list for a color, and having my wishes ignored, over ruled, my scalp burned (scabs), I walked out, went home and looked in the mirror. I HATED MY HAIR, it was everything I didn't want. The owner's words to me after it was done, were "Paris Hilton, look out" !!! Great place for hair – I really enjoy coming to the this salon. I look forward to speaking with Alex about British music and just relaxing in his chair and knowing I'm in good hands. I also got great travel tips from him for when I went to London last year--a place I would definitely be living in if I could afford it. But for now, I can afford Alex's cuts and that's, in my opinion, the next best thing.
Great people-great service – Very delighted with the outcome of my hair today at Alexander G.! What a nice atmosphere and kind people. Rude! – I was a client of Jen's for approximately 9 months and was satisfied with the quality of the colors and cuts. I have had instances where I thougth she might be having a bad day, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, at my last and final visit to her I felt I was completely snubbed. I was exactly 7 minutes late for my appointment and was told that I needed to reschedule.
