Great hair cut – It's been a number of years since I've been to a hair salon that actually delivers what it promotes. I got expert advice from Alex, was treated very well, and was even given travel tips to my upcoming trip to London. Overall, my experience was great and have already booked my next appointment for highlights. My hair cut has retained its shape and is easier to manage than all the ones I had prior. Thanks Alex!
Surprise!! – What a pleasant surprise. After encountering many disappointments at other salons I was finally able to get the color I was looking for. Alex did a superb job of making my highlights honey-toned instead of yellow. I am thrilled and ready for my new "Spring Look".
I Love It!!! – I honestly look forward to my regularly scheduled visit to Alexander G. A world-class salon – I have tried many salons around the city, and I believe Alex is the best at what he does. He is very detail-oriented, with fresh and creative ideas. As a male, I don't have any experience with any of the coloring that he's so reknowned for, so I can't speak for that, but Alex's work does consitently exceed my expectations. Alexander G. rocks – I had the very best service and color/cut/styling this week at this salon. I arrived a bit late but Alex was able to make up for the lost time. When you sit in his seat you can immediately tell how skilled he is. He explained what was going on with my hair in detail, and then proceeded to make it beautiful. He was extremely focused. Did we go to the same salon?! – Unfortunately, my experience at Alexander G. bore no resemblance to those of previous reviewers. There was no warm greeting, no tea, no massage. It was rushed and uncomfortable, I was in and out within 45 minutes. So rushed I got the feeling I was late when I was 10 min early. I regret wasting my time trekking all the way out there from the Mission. Very best color – I recently saw a woman with amazing shine and color in her hair at a cafe. I had to ask her where she had her hair done. She said Alexander G. and went on to rave about his skills. I booked my appointment within a week and must say, I had an amazing color job done and everyone has noticed. Alexander G. is my only choice from now on. And I got a lviving enzyme treatment which has left my hair very soft and nice to the touch. I recommend this salon very much, and the staff is very accomodating and warm.
A+ – I had the best hair experience at Alexander G. this afternoon. Completely pampering and my hair looks and feels great. Outstanding! – You set down the latte or refreshing beverage that Rob just gave you, and you go into a deep condition and head massage. By this time, you have already counseled with Alex or staff, who really listen to your needs. Alex also has an excellent method, which consists of looking at your core and expertly knowing what is going to work for you.
