Blond Hair – Didn't get what I wanted, the highlight job was below average and very expensive, although the salon's atmosphere is pretty nice. I wouldn't recommend.
More than excellent – My sister saw Alex at Alexander G. a few weeks ago and advised me to try him. So I did and decided to also write a review. I've finally found it! – I've been searching for two years since I've moved here for a great salon. After reading the recommendations, I went for myself. Got a fabulous cut and highlights by Sara. Shes REALLY great, wonderful person, makes great conversation. I got excited just knowing that I had finally found her and the salon! I got complements the very next day, recommended her to coworkers already. Its a lovely cozy atmosphere, they provide drinks when you immediately arrive, everyone is very friendly. MUST GO!
Great highlights – If anyone is tired of spotted and streaked highlights, go to Alexander G's. Sarah, one of the stylists, is a true artist with color. The color that she wove into my hair makes it look better than when I was a teen. This was my first visit and I was so pleased that I made an appointment for the next before I left the salon. I highly recommend Alexander G's and Sarah to anyone.
We can all look better. – I really like everything Alex does on hair, but what I REALLY love that he's been doing on me lately is lowlights. Most people typically talk about highlights but there's a whole world out there on LOWlights. And Alex has it down to a science. I don't look washed out at all now--my skin is fair--and I don't feel the need to wear much make-up. My hair speaks for itself and it makes everything else look better too. Real depth! – I just had an amazing experience at this salon. I had an appointment for highlights and hair cut. Alex, the owner, gave me the most thorough consultation I've ever had. He introduced the idea of adding lowlights with the highlights in order to cast shadow against my jaw line, so as to add more definition to my face shape. The outcome was fantastic. The effect of the lowlights gave my look much more depth and shine and my co-workers are all asking for his number.
An incredible place without attitude! – I'm a nightmare when it comes to keeping up with my hair, and I have a hard time finding someone who will halp me figure out what style works best for me. Based on the reviews here and my conversation with someone at the salon (I wish I could remember his name-he's fabulous), I ended up in front of Alex having 10+ inches cut off my hair. He did a fabulous job, and I will definitely be returning. The whole experience was wonderful!

Great color--no roots! – When I went to Alexander for the first time, he asked me how often I'd like to get my hair/color done. No one has ever asked me that question before. I would just go and have my roots done every 6 weeks because they looked terrible growing in. So I said, in the ideal world, two to two and a half months would be perfect.
