Best place for hair I know – My encounters at this hair salon have always been positive and I have been frequenting this place since June of 2005. I have done the rounds with so many salons in the city and no one has been better than my experiences at Alexander G. I like to change my hairstyle often so I can try different things and every time I leave ecstatic. Terrible first Impression – My experience started and ended with a phone call to make a appointment, the (gentleman) that I spoke with was very rude and not at all concerned with my questions as a new client, when I took a few seconds of his time to inquire as to who my appointment would be with he responded, well how much do you want to spend? he had already given me the service prices. I'm completely addicted – I've seen Alex 2 times now and think he's fabulous! I never felt he was cocky or rude. We've always had nice conversations and he even remembered my stories after 3 months and only 1 visit. Even better than personality is the hair. The full head of highlights and lowlights looked amazing. Best I ever had. The haircut suited me perfectly, but my hair is baby fine and needs products for hold and he believes in very little product usage. Great Haircut! – I just had a haircut with Sean from Alexander G. I live out of town and am just here for a couple of weeks for work, so I took a gamble not really knowing what this place was about. Sean was very attentive, very detailed, and gave me exactly what I wanted. He took his time, and I did not feel rushed at all. On top of that, he's a really nice guy. Thanks, Sean!
Best cuts and color – I've been going to this salon for over a year now and every time I walk out of there, I feel great. Every cut has been fantastic and Alex and his team really listen to what the customer wants. The color work is amazing. I usually arrive early and notice that every person who walks by me after he/she has had their hair done looks really really good. And beautifuly styled too. I have absolutely no complaints and they are very respectful. A nice change from the negative people out there!
Very sexy cuts – "Super sexy" is what I've been told of my new hair style. Easy to mantain and even looks great when I wake up. My cut has subtle bangs that fall in just the right places in front of my eyes. I know it was done on purpose, based on my face shape, but it sure looks unintentional and natural. Great corrective color – I went to Alexander G. (my appt was with Alex) after spending two miserable weeks staring at the horrible blonde highlights put in at another salon. I went in with hair that had been highlighted with bleach and left terrible roots. I arrived early and he was already ready for me, he spent approx 20 minutes discussing and showing photos of colors/highlights to figure out what I was looking for and gave me an overall color and highlights that were beautiful and golden blonde (instead of a terrible blea... read more
Mimi rocks – I went to see Mimi at Alexander G. for highlights and hair cut last week. Mimi was able to make sense out of my confusing description of what I wanted. My highlights look gorgeous and Mimi put lowlights in to enhance the lighter color in my hair. And it all looks so natural. I can't believe how great it looks. And combined with my awesome, sexy new hair cut, I am so happy, and it's a relief to find a stylist who I can trust.
Couldn't keep it a secret – I recently moved to San Francisco from London. I had a fabulous stylist there.
