This was without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had. No heart, no compassion. I had to bring my sweet dog ***** in today to be put to sleep because of bone cancer. The assistant was cold and kept calling her "it". Once she was told we would be bringing her home to bury in our yard, her whole demeanor changed. She told me they could put her in a cadaver bag when it was over and that sometimes they start leaking and it can be messy. Let me preface this review with the fact that my first appointment with **************** at Capital Veterinary Specialists was just following their reinstitution of the drop off process due to Covid. I expressed to **************** that I was very uncomfortable in just dropping my dog Sunny off to a vet and staff I had never met to do whatever, and pick him up afterward. Absolutely furious. Ive been going there for some years now. I usually use a vet that specializes in breeding. However thrive is the where I go for small things for my dogs. Ive been a breeder now for five years and I have informed them that my dogs are all intact. I decided to do a complete makeover on my breeding program and I got my male neutered. Thrive is not accessible. My cat had surgery, there was no follow up call to make sure she was ok like any normal vet. When I tried to get a hold of them due to complications that arose, I could only get through to outsourced schedulers. How is this a medical organization? I had a medical concern after their procedure and there was ** ONE to talk to about it? Worst vet clinic in South ******. The staff is snotty and condescending and everything is a money grab with them. Save the time, money and effort and go to ******** instead. At least they are nice to you over there.

I was misled by their representatives at the Thrive Vet. ****** on *************, in *******, **. They will not cancel! I was not provided with a contract, I did not sign a contract and there is no contract!!!! But they want to continue to draft my account for the next 3 months.I don't want to use Thrive anymore. The Veterinarians are wonderful. HOWEVER, the vet techs and people who work the front desk are *****!! They are full of *** attitudes. They constantly act like I am an interruption in their day. I took my new kitten into ************ location just to get his first round of vaccines. I expressly told the tech at the counter I wanted ONLY the ***** vaccine, multiple times, and after trying to continuously upsell me, she finally "notated" my account that it was just the vaccine I was there for. When she took my pet she told me about 10-15 mins, since it was just the vaccine, and to answer the phone when they called to tell me he was ready for pick up. 30mins later I get a text message with the invoice for a visit plus ... read more

I have been going to thrive affordable pet care on ************** in *********** for a couple of years, and pay monthly fees for my animals. I have five animals, three dogs and two cats. Their customer service has always been a bit sketchy, but I continued to go there because I did like the veterinarian and the prices were good. Absolute rip off. Do not join. There we’re appointments available and once I signed up they are booked. I wanted to cancel my subscription and there is a 30 no fee cancellation. They charged my card $100. DONT NOT SIGN UP. They just want to take your money and nobody has responded to giving me my refund.
