Hi, I would like to share my experiences to let everyone know you must be VERY VERY cautious when requesting a health certificate with Thrive Vet Care in *****. I am having a round trip flight with my dog in the USA in June this year and I called to schedule an appointment for requesting a health certificate three weeks prior to the trip. I schedule a date where is one day before my trip and it is pretty tight because the airline requires a health certificate must issue within 10 days before departure and the certificate onl... read more

I would give 0 stars if available. I have belonged to Thrive Vet Care for 2 years. I gave tried to get appointments for my dog several times and there is usually if not always a month long wait or more! Even when my dog has been sick or had a hurt foot. It is very frustrating. It's $120.00 per year for practically nothing.

I bought this through the vet office in ** ******* **. All they told me was that I would not have to paid for the exam and it would cost me $10.00 a month. I thought they were signing me up and I would get more information in the mail from the company. I received nothing. I was not told that I would need a app to use this and I would have to get this for 6 months or pay a penalty to stop. I called the vet's office where i take my dog and asked for the phone number to stop my membership. They told me that there is no number t... read more

Worst experience ever. People are very misleading and unwilling to give prices over the phone. They are ridiculously priced. I called to get my dog spayed. I was originally told that she would need a health check prior to being spayed and I made an appointment for that. I then asked how much to get my dog spayed and was told that they can't give Me a price until they saw her, then I asked how soon they would be able to get her in, they said they didn't know until after the initial visit. I had called numerous people about th... read more

They are price gouging. There fees are 3 to 4 times higher. My total bill was $826.04 and they didn't even give me a diagnosis. The **Ray fee $205.76, interpretation fee $194.25 Bloodwork fee $219.23 The shot of Cerenia was $32.82 The next day I was able to get my dog to my vet. They examined her and gave me a diagnosis of pancreatitis. My vet. also give my dog the same shot of Cerenia and only charged me $7.53 My vet. only charged me $88.89 for **************** visit. I was worried my dog was going to die, that is the only ... read more

Terrible Experience/ DO NOT take your pet here!! After reading all the compliants below it is apparent that Thrive continues to mistreat their customers. My appt was scheduled for 415p. It was raining really bad and I had to carry my 9 year old English Bulldog with shoulder arthritis to my vehicle in the pouring rain without falling or tripping myself. I then proceeded to encounter halting traffic on the freeway as it continued to rain. I pulled up to the clinic at 421p and being my first time here looked over the parking lo... read more

When they want to take your $5,000 they are nice and friendly. However when you call back and ******** answers the phone they are the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever spoken to. I guess racism is ok at this establishment, or at least for ********, because my wife is of Latin descent with an accent it is ok to say I don't understand you and hang up the phone. Then when I called back she said it was my wife that was rude etc, except it's on a recording. When I told her that she became irate, began interrup... read more

Please do not use this vet. Look at the other reviews. I wish I did my research before I brought my cat **** in. Fortunately, I just got out before any "serious" damage was done and mostly lost money and time. I could have lost more. The quality of care is poor. I suppose when you call yourself "Affordable" vet care and run your business practice in philosophy to compete on "price", something has to give and with them, it is quality of care. My father used to say when you go cheap, you pay twice in the long run. That is so t... read more

The ******* ******** location has always been good to me. Yes I agree that they are understaffed but I personally have gotten good service amd I trust ** **** with my animals and they're good about being honest on how their prices compare to the competition, sometimes it's cheaper if they know its significantly cheaper elsewhere they tell you.
