Been customer since 2006. Denied my claim because I didn't have a record of a phone consultation with doctor. Got letter stating I had care for injury/accident and referral to PT. Won't pay for PT because of a phone consultation. Ridiculous. I am telling co-workers not to sign up for AFLAC

Aflac is a scam they say the pay u on tv I would like to go public an say they are a scam I had on job off job accidental ins with Aflac I got hit bye a car on my motorcycle an had to have surgery on my shoulder an they screwed me around never payed any medical or out of pocket I had to pay for doctor visits or cat scans or nothing I would like to go public an let every one know who pays them weekly it's a scam

Possibly THE worst customer service & claims service I have ever encountered. I've been in insurance for 24 years & have never come across a more incompetent company. You can't get a response from anyone.

Awful. Not only have I been waiting five weeks to get paid for my short term disability, it's impossible to get a response back from an agent. They lie about the fast turn around to get paid. I tried to call corporate regarding the issue and their response was "well you have to wait I guess." This is by far the worst company to deal with. Very unprofessional staff. As soon as I get the money I'm entitled too I will be cancelling all my plans with them.
0 STARS but the site makes you leave at least one to post: Aflac has claimed my husband has a "pre-existing" condition, that he just had surgery for. He in fact, was just diagnosed, but because he was sent to an endocrinologist for high calcium in his blood work prior to diagnosis, they claim this is the cause of him being out of work and they don't have to pay. This seems eerily like trickery and manipulation of the facts. I would not recommend Aflac in any way to others.

Seems like Aflac associated with MN is a scam. You pay in and they don't pay out. They give you the run around only to deny you for no truthful reason. My husband had a surgery spent over 24 hours in the hospital. He was admitted 5 am and didn't get released from the hospital until 1:10 pm the next day but their denial letter states he wasn't there 24 hours. *************************************************************** *************************** The same man answers the calls and just tell you anything to keep waiting for... read more
Horrible company! Left job after 5 years. Agent helped me file some small claims. This is the only good agent in that company. 4 months ago. Now the other day they filed a fraudulent fraud case against me over a $25 dental claim. I've spent 9k over 5 years, I had everything. Some ******* insurance fraud detective leaves an ************ door hanger on my door and I met her with proof it happened. From the hospital. Did just what they said they were going to do. Had a claim and they paid it direct deposit to my bank account. Make sure you have the smart claim app on your phone and that you set up to be paid via direct deposit. If you need help reach out to your agent they should be able to help.
We have a company policy and working with them is like working with a company from the Fred Flintstone era - awful customer service - and they only send responses about claims via snail mail?? Not customer friendly, not user friendly - they go at a snail pace, and just a ton of red tape.
