This company is horrible I want over 20 days for claim to be process and they didn't evening combined the claims together. Everyday is a different story I will be canceled this insurances.
I think these people need to be put out of business because they don't deliver what they promised. Premiums are paid with the payouts for hospitalizations ETC are not being paid.
Aflac states one day payment. I am on Aflac disability and it is taking at 30 days for each months claim to process!!! They do not have an answer other than "we are behind". I hope anybody with Aflac has other income to pay their mortgage and car payment!!'
This pertains to the ***************** rider on my ****** policy. From the period of ******************* My***** has been in the hospital a total of 68 days. The 68 days of confinement were not separated by 30 days and were for the same illness. I have spent over 9 1/2 months trying to get 'policies' straightened out to no avail. I get the same run around from each representative I call - not to mention that I spend over 2 hours on the phone each time. I finally just told them to cancel the requests after sending in over $700.00, only to be told later that they would no refund my money. They're policy services department is basically a joke. Aflac sells snake oil. After a hospital stay of 3 days I submitted my claim documents on-line to Aflac. I certainly did not receive a life helping payment from them nor did I receive any contact regarding my claim. After several weeks I reached out to Aflac to check on the status of my claim being told it was in process. I called back several more times to hear the same thing over and over. I have only been a member of this group for about 6 months after signing up a ************************** to which I had surgery. I was told after filing a claim that they couldn't find a policy under my name ( it was because the agent that signed me up did so under a rider) then once I got that straightened out. they refused to pay, stating that more info was needed that wasn't associated with the accident claim, ( but I only filed a short term disability claim). Horrible. I gave one star because I didn't have the option to leave none. I've been getting the runaround since February (my husband was hospitalized for a kidney stone). Now they are asking for doctor's notes from appointments having nothing to do with my husband's hospitalization. They will stall, ask for all kinds of things (some appropriate, some not, as in this case) your rep will call when they feel like it...I've already been waiting for five days. Company is worse than worthless. Had my policy for 48 years and they only paid a little less than $2,000 on bills exceeding $500,000 for cancer. Initially filed a claim and was advised that I couldn't electronically file and receive "rapid" payment because my policy was so old. It was over a month before someone "picked up" the claim and began to process it.
