Almost a complete scam. They do whatever they can to make it as hard as possible to get a claim approved. This company should not only be out of business, it should be investigated by any and all relevant regulatory agencies. Do not ever give them a dime.

Denied legitimate claim over and over, paperwork shuffle and word games. 45 minutes to hour and a half wait time for response from phone calls. No customer service, cancelling policies.

Aflac is extremely easy to enroll, but completely impossible to be granted a claim. I have been denied again and again due to "pre-existing conditions." Even after speaking to a large number of different representative with Aflac, they still have not made it clear what time period applies with a pre-existing condition. Also, every time I speak with anyone, they tell me I will receive a call, I have NEVER received a call from anyone from Aflac. I have strong doubts that my condition falls under pre-existing. The representative did not follow procedure when I cancelled my policy. I was not billed for a whole year and then all of a sudden money is taken out of my paycheck for a policy that I CANCELLED a YEAR earlier. I contacted him and of course was given excuses...this was in September. I continued to email/call until December, and then his supervisor got involved and I did not hear from him again. He lied to me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It is now January and I am still working to get my money back. They took it from me like nothing,... read more

Worst experience I ever had with a business!! I had surgery 12/05/18 @ 5:38 a.m. and was released from the hospital 12/06/2018 12:22 pm. I filed a hospital indemnity claimed the same day I was released from the hospital. I had to take off from work for two weeks to recover from my major surgery. I did not get any kind of pay for the two weeks that i had to take off but hey, that's what good ol Aflac is for right? WRONG!! I called to check the status of my claim the very next week. Cancelled policy several months ago but Aflac continues to deduct premiums. Called to cancel again today sat on hold for over 30 minutes without being able to talk to a representative. No way to contact corporate and I am very disappointed with lack of service and resolution. I expect a resolution and a refund

I had a baby in August and called Aflac to ask if the policy I paid for for 8 months covered the delivery. The first person I spoke with on November 20th looked up my policy using my employee number. I had asked specifically if my plan covered my C section. She told me it did and told me what forms I needed to send. I ran all over the city and spent all day on the phone trying to get the documents needed for the claim and faxed them through. The agents have no idea what they are doing. As a company, DO NOT get involved with Alfac nor sign up with them as an employer. It's so much easier for the employer to have each employee manage their own polices. Each employee can do this on their own and it's quick and easy on Aflac website.

Horrible. They do everything not to pay you. You pay them for years, then have an accident, surgery and are out of work and they deny deny deny. You have to appeal and then they find every reason still, to not pay you. Canceling after three years of being ripped off by them. The commercials are total lies. Very disappointed. They don't even deserve one star. There is no online way to check claims if you are part of a company (ridiculous). Customer service support is a joke.
