I don't recommend getting the hospital policy. All we have gotten is the run around. I don't feel we are going to get out $$ even after we have sent everything in.

My husband went out on disability on August 13th. I have talked to at least 6 different people and finally got the paperwork filled out. They sent ONE payment and then stopped! I called and asked why, they say oh you need to fill out continuation paperwork. I do and still nothing I called again today and they say now you need more paperwork filled out from the employer. They are the worst company ever to work with. They have NO problem taking money out but DO NOT WANT TO PAY! I cannot handle all the bills by myself and we ar... read more

Most claims pay in a couple of days. A pure lie. Pay for coverage and then fight to get paid. Not worth it. A scam at best.

My policy should have been canceled back in 2011 - no one ever followed up. All these years I've been paying into something I believed was canceled and no one has ever bothered to see if I was alive, but they gladly took my money. I do NOT work for Aflac, and obviously their only interest is this $$$$$$$$ Now I'm having a **** of a time trying to get refunded!!! Run away from them as fast as you can! My husband and I have a policy with Aflac. We were in a car accident, and submitted a claim on our policies. I submitted everything. After not hearing anything for a while, we made multiple attempts to contact our agent, all which failed. She never tried to get back to us. I submitted a request for help to the website. When we finally received a response it was that they needed the police report. It had already submitted it, but I sent it again, via mail as they couldn't take another up... read more

Where to start? I have been with Aflac for about 4 years give or take via my employer. Practically every claim I have submitted was denied for some technicality. It is only up on appeal they rule in my favor and even that comes with stipulations. I was basically a spokesperson for them. I got endless amounts of employees to get Aflac. Sad to say I was wrong. AFLAC advertisements and presentations are deceptive. They do not state that you must see a medical professional within 72 hours of your accident or your coverage is voided. My wife fell over a bike in our yard and suffered multiples aches and pains. Only after all of her other injuries healed did she notice that her shoulder wasn't getting better. Once she realized she was actually injured she had her shoulder examined by a physician. She eventually went through both rehab and surgery-neither of which AFLAC covered since we... read more

I have been trying to have my name removed from our policy since this past December. I have dealt with two women who keep telling me the deduction will be reduced the following paycheck of my husband's. I am still waiting. I am tired of getting the runaround!

Absolutely Awful Company with highly deceptive advertising and BOLD lying! On the Aflac Accident Policy website, they advertise that a person breaking their leg, going to the hospital via ambulance, being admitted, having surgery and getting a cast on the leg gets $5570 the very next day. What a total load of Baloney!! If you added up all the benefits for each item, it adds up to less than $1000 for this fictional person. And getting it the next day? I'm rolling on the floor laughing.
