******** ** a license and appointed agent with Aflac threatened, harassed, and stalked me. She also made racist remarks to me. Not sure why Aflac would allow appointed agents behave this way. Completely uncalled for.

I had ************** using my job health Insurance which is ****************** I stayed 1 night at ************* Hospital. I was told by two Aflac representatives that I could fill out a form giving Aflac permission to access my medical record which allow them to get any information they needed regarding any claims I file. My claim was not approved because they said they couldn't get the information they needed. I was also denied a claim for ************ for the same reason. I have been waiting on AFLAC to act on my 96 year-old mother's claim for Long Term Insurance payment. I submitted the claim in August of 2019 and was denied since AFLAC said that her long term care facility didn't meet their standards. I immediately submitted a rebuttal with lots of verification from the home, her doctor, etc. and to date 1/16/2020, I'm still waiting for a response. I have been a huge advocate for AFLAC and the importance of keeping your family covered since becoming a customer about three years ago. I have only filed a wellness claim and most recently an accident claim for an auto accident my husband was involved in. This was not a big claim however my husband did go to the emergency room and had some specialty test completed early November of 2019. Had short term disability insurance. Took over 3 weeks post operation to be paid half what was owed. They never contacted my employer or doctors to verify form information. They went off employer form rather than doctor's form to determine when I could return to work. Reimbursed me as if I was working part-time whilst in a rehab hospital. Their reps are worse than used car salesmen and customer service was horrible. WILL NEVER USE AFLAC AGAIN.

Beyond frustrated! I signed up for the Hospital indemnity. My husband had to be in the hospital in ********* I've turned in all the requested forms but yet it still says documents needed. Doesn't tell me which ones are needed. I've called the customer service number 6 times only to be told an hour wait and never recieved a call back on any of them, Not once! I was placed under the wrong policy in 2016. I was supposed to be covered in case of pregnancy for maternity leave, and was only on an accident plan, not short term disability. My agent and her husband, Kristy and Tom F were very hard to reach and short, and Tom also no-showed on me on one occasion. I checked with Kristy about sending a form the ********************* and she emailed a short term disability form. Very Disgusted with lack of transparency and the inability to speak with Aflac. , I am wrote to notify you that on January 2,2020 I submitted my Claim Appeal Form for both my Short-Term Disability Policy and Hospital Indemnity Policy. I had went to the hospital on December 7th and again on the 8th. I have uploaded the same documents again and again and the only response I have been provided, is that I must provide medical history and discharge paperwork. I have done this multiple times and confirmed with more than 3 representatives that it is in the system and will be sent for a secondary review.
