The customer service is no help. I want a person to tell me about my return. They just give you information you find on their website. They say it takes up to 2 weeks to receive a return but their team can't even tell you if they received it. Yet, FedEx says they have. You will hear nothing from them apparently until its processed which takes another 2 weeks. They have lost my patronage. I was going to repurchase the right size but not now.

Shipped wrong items, waited on hold for 40 minutes to speak to someone about it, correct shipment estimated to take ANOTHER two weeks, one item was sold out by then so now I can’t even get it, all I was given for this mess was a 20% discount. Completely unacceptable.

They are lucky I even gave them one star! I placed an online order on 4/1/2020, received it delayed on 4/10/2020. Did not like anything I purchased and put it all back in the box it came in within the hour that I received it... went online to see how you are suppose to return it since they didn’t provide an invoice or a free return shipping label. Printed out a invoice with everything I was returning went to UPS paid 12 dollar to ship it back. It got to the warehouse on 4/13/2020. Never received an email confirmation that th... read more

Holy crappy customer service Batman!! I placed an order on April 17, 2020 for 5 items. 3 items came in one delivery and then the other 2 are coming in separate deliveries. I received a total of 4 items so far and the last item was sent from PA on April 25, 2020 scanned into IL on May 1, 2020 and was suppose to have been delivered to LA today May 4, 2020 but as I checked the tracking info it was scanned into Maryland this morning at 8 am. This company is a hot mess. They have no ability to respond. They are unable to provide information. They are like a broken record with their responses and have no customer service. They cannot get it together. They have run large sales on their website that they cannot handle the volume for.

They do not stand my their products. Twice is the last year I have bought a faulty item and they have refused to return it. Their customer service is horrible on so many levels. They have lost my business permanently.

Trust me! They don’t deserve this star right there! I had a credit card with American eagle Outfitters that I used to pay on time and stoped using it lately. All of a sudden, today I l noticed a new inquiry plus 5 points off my credit score and when I checked it out I found out that American Eagle decreased my credit limit. And when I called the account manager said that AE have the right to decrease and increase your limits from time to time, and then said to avoid fraud in your account! I was back down from my baby weight, and so excited to get my jeans from what has always been my favorite store to buy jeans from, A & E. The girl was not happy to help me find my size and fit, I am usually a size 2 and need short not regular, and she really didn't feel like searching, and made it all too obvious. I placed two orders and two of the packages were sent by UPS SurePost which gets handed off to the USPS For final delivery. UPS says two of the packages were delivered but I never got any packages, and when I look up the USPS tracking number that UPS gives, USPS says they don’t have the packages. UPS says it’s out of their hands and I have to contact USPS and USPS says they don’t have the packages. American Eagle won’t refund me.
