Their customer service is terrible. I've had a store card with them for almost ten years. Initially, I got it to start building credit as a younger person. So, I've spent an embarrassingly large amount of money over the years at this place. I got a coupon in the mail that did not state in the fine print that it couldn't be used on sale or clearance items. I recently visited the American Eagle Outfitters in Brandon Mall the Saturday before Christmas. The store personnel were very busy but still went out of their way to be upbeat and friendly. My cashier was exceptionally efficient and personable as she applied multiple discounts and coupons that I had, all while maintaining a friendly stream of conversation.
Worst customer service ever. I ordered clothing from AEO a month ago and didn't receive my package. When I called them about my problem, they said they would reimburse me. They ended up only reimbursing me for half. I have a email that proves it. I called again, they said they had reimbursed me for the full amount (saying the customer was wrong) when my email and bank account says otherwise. I placed an order with 2 day shipping courtesy of my shop runner account. I will be leaving on vacation 10 days from the day I placed the order. They shipped part of it, cancelled part of it because they are short on the item, and have no idea when the rest of it will ship. I made a purchase at American Eagle for $311.08 and first thing I was supposed to get 2 day shipping its been 7 days and I still do not have all of my order. Secondly the pair of pants the sent me was worn with STAINS ON THEM and CLEARLY HAVE BEEN WORN.
