While my project was started by SunPro Solar, ADT Solar has continued with one situation after another leaving me extremely unhappy with my solar project. Excuse after excuse and delay after delay, my solar array eventually started producing electricity. I have not seen the production level of 14.7 kwh at any time. I shudder to think how a lesser system would have performed. I was told that each panel has a warranty that guarantees 92% performance but none of my solar panels have surpassed 92% of rated capacity. I was adaman... read more

Came highly recommended but would not come and physically assess the house for solar. They relied on old satellite images to determine the amount of shade the roof received. Unless you have no trees or shrubs, do not call.

ADT Solars customer service is terrible! I couldn't find anyone working after the system installed and mortgages start paying. My system got installed one month ago and waiting for CPS checking. After I tried contact ADT Solar several several times but no one answered, I asked CPS myself whether they have my checking request. Tuns out CPS hasnt been notified. Everyone should know it.

I have tried twice and sign twice a contract with ADT solar for panels and both times they have not come thru, according to a previous employee they have changed personnel. I have contacted them on several occasions and they have not had the courtesy or decency to call me back. I specifically left a message for ********************************* field manager to call me back and I am still waiting on his response (it has been over a couple of weeks already). After almost a year since I signed the contract they haven't finished the work and all I have is an enormous list of excuses and apologies and a pile of panels in my patio waiting for inspection to be installed. Is they take so long to install the system I don't want to know how long it will take for them to solve any problems that can occur in the future.I can only express deep disappointment and frustration at seeing so much lack of professionalism with which I have been treated from a company as big as ADT.

Situation: the end of August, I needed to have the roof replaced and have had nothing but headaches in dealing with ADT. 1)They removed the solar panels and am still finding hardware throughout the yard as it appears the team threw down the inverters, rails etc off the home .. I found hardware to the mailbox in the front of my yard and my neighbors also found some in their yard. 2)HOWEVER, the big problem is when ADT requested a permit from town of Mount Pleasant they only said they were going to reinstall with no drawings o... read more

We signed up with Sunpro in November 2020. Our installation was put off until May 2021 (not on our part). When our original calculations were done, the tax credit was 26% of the total installation cost (over $16,000). Since our installation was not complete before tax time, we were not able to file our solar panels on our taxes until April 2022. It was never communicated to us that the tax credit was dropping to 22% in January 2021. Our "17th month" payment should have been around $13,000 instead of over $16,000, like Sunpro... read more

RUN THE OTHER WAY!! This company has been nothing but a miserable experience. This project began March of 22 and i was given a six week time frame with no payments. Since them .i have just powered my system on a bit over a week ago (its October). There is so much i can type out but to summarize, it has been a nightmare. I was promised no payments and have since made 4 payments and only received two checks that i waited months for. So now i am waiting for more checks that supposedly takes months to process.
