Its been 2 months since my solar panels were installed. They were installed on the wrong side of the house. They have not remedied that situation. No energy saving plan or light bulbs as promised. Still not even hooked up to the grid. Customer service has said numerous times that they will call back and they never do.

The entire team has been great. I didn't realize how big this company in. I started my sales process with Ernestina, she followed up and did what she said she wound do. Tom ******, the regional manager was also great. Had a couple speed bumps along the way in which he personally handled. He gave me his cellphone and said call him anytime with any concerns. Outstanding work on installing my new SunPro Solar Panels and crew did a great job.
This complaint is in regards to questionable practices in their business throughout Florida, Louisiana and Texas. This enterprise placed their solar panels without completing a full roof inspection on my Mueller Metal Roof. Mueller Metal Roof is not supportive of any solar paneling devices. I have records of texts and emails from the local “Regional” Director Chris ******* here in El Paso, TX stating they are sister companies and certified Mueller Metal Roof installers. Nothing but high praises for SunPro Solar. From my sales rep Billy *********to the project manager Stephanie to the installation teams. Communication on time lines, when the crews would arrive and work that would take place. Unfortunately, COVID hit and created delay's beyond their control. Tesla battery factory shut down for a while which created a back-log. The electrical and building inspectors in my city have nothing but great things to say about them also. Sales person was polite and courteous. BUT greatly misinformed. A salesman who went through a 2 or 3 day course and was told how to push the system not how it should operate. They look at your electric bill and average the monthly usage. Then tell me I need a system that will NOT work on days I consume the most electricity. Your system, without battery backup, has to carry the entire load of your home. That means every appliance, HVAC, lights, virtually everything that uses electricity. <p>The sales Lady never gave her name and started with chitchat about how she doesn't like the current President cause she can't travel to other countries. After being very patient and letting her try to explain how solar works the question was asked on how much is this going to cost. She could only ask for my information to do a credit check and tell me what my payment will be. They do not sell home solar systems, they sell monthly payments.</p>
Business response:
A couple of days after posting the 1 star review I was contacted by a regional sales manager. He listened to my complaints and offer to come do the sales presentation again and answer all my question. The second time around was much better and all of my question were answered and we were givin the full price of the system not just a monthly payment. If we ever decide to go solar Sunpro will be considered.
It has been over three months since I signed a contract with Sunpro. Panels were installed 30 days later. The power company has refused to install the electric meter twice citing Sunpro's failure to follow electrical install Instructions. After the first failed hook up last month, the tech was very specific about what needed to be done AND that Sunpro had been previously notified of the change.
