We contracted with ADT Solar to install Solar panels and a back up battery on our home. We signed a contract based on the pre approved financing at 3.99% with the job to be completed within 6 months. ADT failed to coordinate work. Failed to get the rough inspection completed in a timely manner. Failed to complete the electrical work as indicated in the paperwork, which caused the inspector to tentatively pass the rough inspection based on ADT fixing what didn’t match their schematics. For over 6 months after receiving a nearly $10,000 deposit, this company failed to advance at all towards installation of the solar system that I purchased and did not meet their contractual deadlines. They lost permitting paperwork for my case, failed to respond to calls and emails, and were--by their own admission--dishonest with me in their representation of the work that they intended to complete. WoW!!! I wish I read the reviews before I signed a contract with this company;. All the comments below, I can relate too., Because it's happened to me, and is still happening right now. Last Aug 2021 I signed a contract with ADT. Last Nov 2021 my panels were installed. Since then, the electricians have come out to install, redo errors, and again come out and redo errors. It's been 16 months now, and I still don't have a working system. The electrical system is still wrong. They installed two meters, which they should have on... read more

We have ADT home security service, so when we had to leave town suddenly due to my mothers death, and got a call that had ADT as part of the *** I picked it up, even though we were knee deep in funeral planning. I led with, if this call is about our security system, Ill take it, but if youre calling to sell us something, I wont, because my mother has just passed away and we are planning the funeral now. The csr said she was sorry to hear that and then launched into her pitch anyway, so I hung up. ADT Solar called three more ... read more

ADT is a RIP OFF!!!! Do not use this service. My system was installed in August 2022, I haven't been able to use the system yet.
