I would give them a 0 star if I could. I'm trying to cancel my services with them and have spent a good portion of my day trying to get through with a 60-78 minute wait, well at 30 minutes they cut me off!! After many texts and emails I finally got a supervisor to call me and cancel. I have had nothing but problems with the company for 4 months straight from false alarms, bad sensors to a ghost alarm. Awful company with horrible customer service. The security system doesn't work, it constantly loses connection and is overall unreliable. Not what you want in a security system. When I talked with the tech support they sent new devices that still didn't work. They changed their app without notifying me and changed the login information which locked me out of my account. I removed my payment information because I didn't feel right paying for something that didn't work. They then called me twice a day for a month harassing me ... read more

This is a horrible company. Straight up trash! I had the service for 6 months. Every single month, a total of 6 times a tech had to come out and fix the camera system as they malfunctioned. Then every time they tried to charge me a $60 service fee to fix their c*** system. I would have to call the office, and without fail, it would be over a 1 hr wait. I have been trying to cancel my service for 2 days! The first time I called, I was told my wait time was 81 minutes! Today I'm told I will be on hold for 107 minutes!!!!! I agree with *******! My advice is don't get this service unless you intend to have it for life. ALSO, when I called the numbers to add service or billing, I got a rep in a fairly reasonable time frame.

It has been going on for a while now. We are always being hung up on when trying to contact ADT! Lately our service has not been working, finally got to talk to someone, but after an hour of not being able to get one of the cameras working and they kept wanting us to keep trying. Supposedly they don't have technicians to send our to fox problems. They told us they have 3rd party people to do that? Just getting ridiculous it hasn't worked in a week

I've had this ADT system for about a year and a half. I paid around $1700-$2000 for the equipment up front pluse the $59.99 monthly service! During the time of installation I was doing construction on my property and needed to make sure the house was safe with all the materials and work going on. I like the system overall but our doorbell camera has caused issues since literally the first week it was installed. It will chime in the middle of the night with no one outside, and when you open the camera on the app it says theres a system error. This happens weekly. We tried to report it and never got a response back. I couldnt get ahold of anyone who actually could help. And today I decided to be done with it and ask for a refund for just the camera. Trying to keep it short, I had Northstar security service. ADT bought my contract from Northstar.I don't want ADT, so I called them on November of 2022, and after dealing with them for almost eight hours, getting transferred and hung up on I was told my service was cancelled. Then, in December, I saw on my bank account that an automatic withdrawal was taken out for a month of ADT. I call and the customer service rep told me that ********************** didn't request it. Needed to get service at my house once already signed contract. It takes over 45 minutes to get someone on the phone. I finally decided to cancel my service because of their customer service. To cancel ********************** will put you back and forth on the phone with different people, them make you wait over 60 minutes with each person just making it so dreadful to cancel the contract that you almost makes you give up.
