Would not recommend the company, what on hold for a Hour to talk to who you need to, when the only reason I got the system was for the Cameras, Cameras are not working,called to get out of my contract and am stuck with this stuff because the security system and the cameras are to different things so I am stuck in a contract for a system I didn't need oh want in the first place.
I was on the phone for over 1 hour and 30 minutes and was transferred 4 times. I was not disagreeable, but the last transfer didnt give me any explanation and immediately put me on hold again and then hung up.
I spoke with a representative over a month ago to cancel my service. Was on hold for over 15 min and had to take a work call so I hung up. You CANNOT cancel online. Just received a call that I owe a balance. Asked AGAIN to be transferred to cancel my service. The hold recording said hold time is over 80 min!!!!!!!!! How?? I need to cancel and this company is holding me hostage to be able to do so. This is not ok and is essentially extortion by preventing customers to cancel by reasonable means.
ADT Security is committing fraud by telling customers that a home service fee is $25. According to the service man, a customer actually must pay at least $100 in labor, cost of batteries, in addition to $25. ADT also states in writing that the cost of an in home service fee is only $25 and no mention of other fees.
Can I give LESS than 1 Star!!! I am so freaking frustrated with ADT that I'm close to tears!!! I've called 16 times since November 30th (today is January 18th, 2023) trying to cancel my service. I've been on hold for over 13 hours cumulatively between 16 phone calls, only to be disconnected EVERY SINGLE TIME that I'm on hold with the Accounts Department!!! And, of course, I get disconnected AFTER being on hold for 48 minutes, or 82 minutes, or 91 freaking minutes!!!!!! I've documented every call and every hold time!!! I can ... read more
I ordered their service but it never worked. I have never actually used the service due to it not working. I have been paying for a service for over a year that doesnt work ! I have called customer service several times to get a tech to come by to install the other sensors for doors and windows without any luck. So when I finally installed it it wasnt working. We all know too well that a low rating or fake review can be a problem for ANY business. As a matter of fact 94% of people in society say "they will avoid a business because of a negative online review. A staff of a person lying to you is REALLY disrespecting you. i was a costumer for 6- or 7-years brinks and adt split their way and i went with brinks then i received a bill from adt for **** stating I renewed my contract with them, and I owe it. they sent me a bogus signature stating I signed a new contract. Not only is my name missed spelled but it is printed I contacted them several times and they would not help me and now I am in collections due to this fraudulent charge,
They are a horrible company when it comes to backing anything up! I was told that nest aware is part of price! For me it is not apparently. I had to purchase this to get my cameras back up!! When you try to call them they are rude and simply hang up on you when you are trying to get things resolved. I have been yeld at...I have been on hold for long periods of time!
