During the 3rd week of Sept., 2022, I called ADT to cancel my service and the man I spoke with said he has canceled it but I need to talk with account services so they can do the paperwork. He transferred me to another number but no one ever answered and I was on hold for over 30 minutes. There was not an option for me to leave my name and number for a call back. My father passed away in May, 2021. My mom sold the house a month later, she notified ADT to cancel service, they told her to mail an original death certificate. She complied. EIGHT months later she still is getting $50per month deducted from her bank account. Yesterday I called and was given a phone number to call and I was on hold for over an hour and a half and still couldnt reach anyone. I have had the worst experience of my life with ADT. My system has not worked multiple times they charge a fortune to come out and fix their problems. The customer service swears at you and over talks you and will not set an appointment up to come to my house to fix the issue. I 100% do not recommend ADT at all!
I canceled my services in November with ADT and services were to be shut off December 8th. I have called 3 times to make sure my services are off. Because they are still running and I am still being billed. This companies customer service hears one thing and then signs you up for another. I have not been more clear I do not want services with this company. Their equipment breaks, and bill fluctuates. But they can't even cancel services right. I been trying to cancel my services for weeks. They keep transfers to differ departments and been on hold for hours I need help canceling this service can longer afford to paid!Thanks!
Adt is very unprofessional! They sold me a alarm system know I didn't have enough up load speed.. agent I spoke with told me that. Had fire in house smoke alarm didn't go off . Thank God I still had ones that came with house. Says my system is off line on phone. The want me to spend more money on a wifi repeater.. I don't recommend Adt don't waste your time or money!
I have attempted to get a battery for my home security system ADT since 12/29/22. *** placed several calls requested a manager call back. Ive been charged for the battery and express mail but still no help. The CSRs have been NO help and as long as Ive been a customer. Account is paid but the customer service is lackluster at best! Very unhappy VERY!!!
Frustration and mad about this company. Do not get involved and take their service out. I have been a customer for over 4 years and because of the economy had to cut my phone service. Well guess what my security system is hooked up to my phone line. Instead of letting me out of the said a verbal contract done in 2021 for 2 years, I have to pay a large disconnect fee. My system doesn't work but no help on solutions except pay double and hook up the phone again or pay off your contract.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Two weeks ago a good friend called to let me know that my alarm suddenly stopped working as I am out of state. I called ADT and requested repair as my house is not protected. The customer service representatives refused to be flexible with an appointment. Another friend arranged to have a technician come. He gave them his phone number. Importantly ADT has my back up phone number. Inexplicably ADT refuses to use my back up number and continues to call my landline.
