ADT has proven itself to be a complete failure to install a security system properly, and also in failing in respond to repeated requests to come and fix the many failures during the installation. Cancelling service is a nightmare. They have all excuses to not cancel the service and keep charging you. And in the end they want to you to pay more to close account. Never going to adt again and will make sure not one in my circle fall in this trap.
We have been dealing with ************************* as our "Case Manager". We have had our solar system sitting on our roof for 2 months waiting for final inspection...Today I called our local permitting office after **** told my husband and I that the County had told them to hire a 3rd party inspector, then we were told that That our Power Provider was backlogged, he had the flu, etc, etc...Spoke to our County Permitting and found out that **** with ADT NEVER filed the notice of commencement with the county which has to be ... read more
I have tried ever since February 12 of this year they ******** one thing and then told me something different. They have sent me three different contracts with three different prices and now I cant get anyone to come here to fix the service that was supposed to been fix then The last time they said his truck broke down he couldnt come now hes got a cold now he cant come they act like they have only one service technician. The security cameras that ADT has installed on my home do NOT work. I have spent hours on the phone with ADT and hours at home waiting on different technicians to come out and service the problem. Do NOT make the same mistake as me by choosing ADT to protect your home. The cameras are motion activated and do NOT record continuously, they pause after 30 seconds. What this means is, if someone knocks on your door and you answer it and you engage in conversation with this person. The cameras will pick up the first 30 seconds. S... read more
I'm a board member for an HOA and attempted to contact ADT multiple times to get an estimate for securing our condominium complex. My calls were never returned and when I called for the last time, I was transferred to about 5 separate departments before I had to leave to my next meeting. None of the departments were able to assist me and kept telling me that I had been transferred to the wrong department. This company is incompetent at best and we will not be using them for our complex as a result.
I have been a customer of ADT for over 10 years and never had a problem until 6 months ago. I have repeatedly called the ADT for help for the last six months to fix the issues. They have sent workers out there and all they have done was change the battery and put glue on the motion system. I have had the city of Tampa police officers coming to my address for false alarms due to ADT not fixing the problem. This is crazy and the ADT company in Tampa, Florida does not care .
called to cancelled service 2 months ago. Still charging me .They say I owe them a balance when I paid them every month up to the 2 months that I cancelled the service. Tried to call to settle the problem but they kept hanging up on me.
I have had this service for years with a faulty system they do nothing to help. Have been trying to have my system fixed for years nobody will contact you. When you make appointments you have to sit there for a whole day then they dont show up. I just paid 80 a month for over a year with a system that did not work pretty much at all.
