We wanted to upgrade our system so a representative came out to see what was required. Installation of a key fob was not included in our agreement and the installer was unable to get it. Absolutely worst company to deal with if youre looking for security system for your home or business. ADT service was used in my home for a little over two years and for that period I havent had a reason to contact their office until November of 2022 to cancel service and from there it all went downhill! In March 2023 I set on my lunch break going through my email and found a billing statement from ADT for over $300. Absolutely trash customer service. I spent over 2 hours on hold for a simple video doorbell issue that is still not resolved. **************** agents transfer you around to get the right person. I cannot contact a manager or supervisor to get on the phone. Expect you to pay to troubleshoot their faulty equipment. If you could put 0 stars I would. They have zero issues taking your money but have issues helping you. Hire a pigeon to watch your house it is more effective than them.
We have had a wireless system for 6 years and every year without fail have had issues with connectivity to ADT. When we call the number for help with alarms, we frequently get put on hold for 30+ minutes and have to transferred multiple times. Last night I was transferred four times (trying to get my expired and beeping carbon monoxide detector) and then finally was told to call back the next day and was hung up on. We are a non-profit organization. We had to terminate our services after many years because ADT would not move our current service to our new location. We had a credit balance on our account that we were told many times would be refunded to us. We have contacted them multiple times about the refund, which we expected in Sept 2022 and still have not received as of March 20, 2023. I do not recommend anyone to do business with this company.
FRAUD!!! We cancelled our ADT account in October. ADT continued to charge ** monthly even after I closed the account. It took a 45 minute phone call to get the money refunded and I still do not trust they will not continue to debit money from our account.
We have been trusting customers of ADT Security Services for about 20 years. Today I discovered that trust was misplaced. We had a failed Carbon Monoxide detector replaced in November 2012. That seemed to go fine. Our ADT Pulse system continues to this minute to report that the new replacement, a CO1224T, is online and working fine. That seemed doubtful because the device was so old, so I contacted ADT Support for confirmation. I was told that the unit would definitely report "end of life" and was fine. I signed up with ADT on e year ago. Today, , my panel said that they had to bypass my kitchen window. After 2/12 hours on the phone, I was told that there would be a $149 charge for someone to replace the battery. this is outrageous. They said the same charge will apply as the other batteries fail , which could coast as much as $1350. Other services are a much batter buy, and I hope that those of you that read this, will cancel and go to other services.SHAME ON THEM.
adt bought northstar, I did not agree to be a adt customer, when I called to make sure they closed my acct, I was continually transferred, and given high pressure sales to sign on with them I was literally transferred about 4 times, each with pressure..I kept telling them to PLEASE just close me out of thier system..I am still not sure they did it even after given a reference number..this is unacceptable, and I felt harassed.
