I called to cancel my account on 3/27. I was informed that I was paying for cameras. I told her that I do now have any cameras on my property, she further looked and found that they had installed a Ring camera which is why I was being charged for the service, I then proceeded to ask, I was paying TWO companies for ONE service? She confirmed if I was paying Ring directly then yes, I was. I've had ADT security for 11 years. It has never worked consistently. I switched to a different system years ago and they assured me it would solve all the problems. I have had several technicians out who swear they will fix the problem. Each one gives me a cell phone and then doesn't return the calls. ***** - the ********* who came out 1/11/23 gave me his cell and I text him the next day with a photo of the issue. ADT used to be a great company with amazing customer service. Now, I can barely get in contact with someone and when I do, they almost never resolve my problem. I cant wait for my contract to be over, so that I can be done with them.

I started with ADT in *******. I had it for 1 year when I decided to move. I called did the whole moving to another state set up. They advised me that I was under contract in my current location but that they could "transfer" my contract to my new state and I would not be extending anything out. My father passed 3 weeks ago and going over his bank accounts and credit cards found that he was being charged for an ADT security system at a rental property that was vacant. He had told me last year that he had cancelled the service yet he was still being charged.I called ADT **************** to see why the alarm had not been cancelled and during my 45 minute call was transferred 5 times with no resolution. I tried to cancel this service with ADT after being out of contract for over a year due to the equipment not working!They continued to bill me for a service that was not working!When I continued to try and cancel they would park me on a cancellation extension And not pick up so I could cancel !Now they sent me to collections for a service I could not use !! Stay away from adt

Reviewed my bank account and noticed a ADT recurring fee. Called customer service to find out the details. Once I indicated I would like to cancel service. I was transferred 3 times in over 45 minutes. Then I was transferred to another line where the estimated wait time was 30 minutes.I'll just put a block regarding this with my credit union. **************** stinks.

Money hungry company. We moved and I was told it was cheaper to get the cheapest equipment and just keep my original contract for the remaining year of the three year agreement. Tech came to our new house installed the keypad had me sign the paper saying he had done as much. I call to cancel my contract that *** waited a year to do, and find out that theyve locked me into another 3 year contract ! Refusal to do anything about it except to lower my monthly payment a few bucks. Worst monitoring company I have ever encountered.

Camera quality is awful. App is not great. Waiting for a camera to pull up on the app can take too long especially if something has happened. The cameras don't record half the time. The sound doesn't pick up well. The kicker is automatic bill pay doesn't work, so after 3 months you get a bill that doesn't make sense. You call several times and argue with several people for MONTHS. Finally call head quarters, they get the billing straightened out, only to go through it again.
