We've had ADT for years and they have always had very poor customer service. So much that for the past year we have waited desperately for our contract to expire and contacted ADT via email, via chat on their website and via telephone at least four times to confirm that we no longer were under contract, so we cancelled our account. Stay as far away from as you can - deceptively sold into a 3 year contract when I was under the impression it was month to month. Horrible customer service, and an even worse product. Would not recommend ADT to anyone ever.
we canceled account as we are moving states and there is a charge for the next month's bill on our account, called and got transferred 3 times asked for a supervisor...and supposedly suppose to call me back...we will dispute with credit card company
The ************** The Worst customer service. They are basically stealing money for a service that does not perform what you are paying for. On two instances the system has failed and caused us thousands of dollars worth of damages/burglary. It is a service that is robbing people and businesses of their money. No service, no technician, no one available by phone. Absolutely rock bottom, after more than 3 years on contract, and they have raised the fee (again) without any communication.I've been waiting for more than 2 hours (this time) to speak to someone who can cancel the account.They have transferred me 4 x and I'm still waiting There is no internet accessibility. I bought a new home in 2020 I decided to give ADT a try since they are supposedly the best alarm company and I've had other bad experiences with other alarm companies. Firstly as soon as they came to my house they wanted to show me all these high end options I would have (without any pricing til the end) then they were upset that I told them I was told that I had a promotion mailing that said I could could get monitoring for $39.99 a month. Spent several calls and HOURS on calls to try to get a new sensor for our door. Kept getting passed to other people due to the fact it wasnt their ***** Finaly billing said they would wave fee and to call the next day due to it took 24hr to get in system. 2 days later still getting passed around and now they said they can wave fee in sensor if we sign a new year contract. Worst service ever.
What happen with ADT? Bad service, bad system panel and equipment! Called the customer service but we were not on the same page! Cameras were not working but thats fine. I bought the other brand cameras. Panel alarm had a lot of noise every day. Try to find out the user name and reset password but no any email I can receive. I cancelled service then. The panel is messed. A lot of noise from panel everyday! If I can give adt 0 star, I will not give 1 !
I called ADT to talk to them about my bill and I get the run around every time I call. Always being connected to someone else. So I got frustrated and just told them that they could have there system back. There system was never set up or even opened. I have now spoke with 37 people in 4 days and still can not get them to take there merchandise back...
