I am a new customer with ADT. What started off as great quickly turned into a nightmare. I initially called ADT and spoke with a representative who I informed I was a Costco customer. They made me feel all warm and cozy inside when they said since I was a Costco member, I would be receiving a free outside camera installed. The deal was done. I canceled my service and it was never processed, they collected payment and have not returned it . I've requested a refund multiple times, it was "approved" however, I've not had any refund yet,I was told it would be 8 days, it's been 2 weeks and nothing. I called back, was told again my cancelation has not been Processed, THREE MONTHS after I canceled, and my refund has not been Processed either.

Called 3 times to try and cancel because I sold the home and no longer live there. They refused to help and hung up on me each time. Disgusting! I was a customer for 14 years!****

My two year contract was up in December I canceled January 5. They keep sending me monthly bills. The bills are all marked Past Due! When I called and canceled for the fourth time the customer service agent told me to just ignore the bills. These notices are very annoying. This company is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. When my camera broke six months ago the repairman who finally came told me he couldn't fix it and to call an electrician. Expensive compared to other competitors out there, hard to cancel even when you are moving out of the home your contract is registered to. Expected me to pay the 75% of remaining contract fee when I called to cancel when I am moving out of the home.

I paid over ***** over 10 years for 0 service. They NEVER TEST THEIR CONNECTION TO YOUR SYSTEM to ensure it works. Police would NEVER have been notified if something had happened, and I would have thought they were coming. When I talked to customer support, they indicated that my responsibility was to test the system every month. Who does that?Have code "FC" on your keypad. Apparently, that is an "Error message" that indicates that there isn't a connection between ADT and your system.Got rid of your land line connection? Mak... read more

I've been with this company over 10 years. The service is bad. To make things more disgusting, they gave me a *********************, said it was easy to set up. They will not answer the phone. I've been trying to get ahold of them for a month. Still have no security system set up, and they keep asking for payment. For what, no services? No one should do business with this company!

I called to get an acknowledgement that I dont want to renew my contract and they kept transferring me claiming they transferred me to account management. After over an hour, I have gotten no results and I ended hanging up the call. They kept putting me on hold and coming back with offers when I clearly told them I dont want it and I dont have time to waist yet it does not sound they understand English. !!!

Was a customer for ten years and system worked fine until an upgrade was done just under two years ago, at which time we started getting 'loss of communication' alerts (rapid beeping of keypad) at random times. Three visits by tech service did not resolve the issue which was blamed on the weak cell signal in our location. Prior to the ADT equipment upgrade this was never an issue.
