I've been a customer for over 20 years, what once was a great company with excellent customer service has gone down the tubes unfortunately like most things today. Terrible customer service, appointments made you wait all day they don't show they don't call but they'll reschedule your appointment via email and you won't know this unless you check your email all the time. I have been an ADT customer for a year, but recently I decided to cancel my service due to moving. However, ADT charged me $790 for canceling my service, claiming that I had signed a 3-year contract online.The problem is that I do not remember signing any contract, and when I contacted ADT customer service, they sent me a e-signed contract that was not signed by me. Worst company ever. No help for my 90 year old mother. Her house was broken into and stole panel. We have been waiting 3weeks to get help regarding this. We keep getting the run around. We get different information every time we call . She has also been a customer for 18 years. Dont use **********************. They dont care about their customers.
A REQUEST TO CANCEL SERVICE HAS BEEN ISSUED MULTIPLE TIMES. BUT EVERY TIME WE TALK TO THEM WE GET, "WE ARE WORKING ON IT." THEN THE FALLOWING MONTH ANOTHER BILL. MOST LIKELY WE WILL BE PUT INTO COLECTTION AND CREDIT DINGED DO TO THIER INCOPETENCE.
I recently contacted this company and have been with them for several years. I had an issue with my system and they wanted me to resolve it via telephone when I am paying for maintenance service. The company is not sensitive to elderly or disabled people and it takes several weeks to get an appointment leaving people vulnerable. This security company took out $1800 from our bank account, for no reason. We had been paying them monthly for security monitoring and randomly, we had a huge charge that was unsolicited and not due to them. My husband called an ADT employee we had been working with in order to transfer our monitoring from a house we were selling to a house we were buying. I wish I could take the one star I gave, back.I have been calling and complaining to blue adt since December of 2022. The first complaint was 1 of my cameras went offline. I was sent a replacement. Before I could get that camera up, the second camera went offline. I called and kept getting transferred to multiple agents. Each time an agent put me on hold i was sent back to the queque.I had to call back and start all over. Imagine doing that 5-6 times. I finally got connected to a supervisor (*******). I have never felt worse about a company. I should’ve learned after a terrible experience with them at my previous home in Texas. They will nickel and dime you for everything. You are expected to pay for maintenance and service done to their fault equipment. I shouldn’t be paying additional funds for your to come and fix equipment that has never worked properly. I had ADT installed around a month ago. My concerns were that a hacker was taking over everything that was connected on WI-FI. I was assured that the ADT system could not be taken over. Within a day my cameras and security system were no longer operated by myself and I could no longer use them. They were taken over as well as the Gmail account that is mandatory for set up.
