I find this company very difficult to work with and not understanding, buyers remorse. We just moved to a new state and was not aware of the county's request when you have a alarm system installed you are asked for two contacts. Not known anyone we could give a key to or have as a contact since we just moved here we called and wrote a letter explaining this to ADT. Nine days after install and canceling the system. They are not understanding when it comes to seniors and living on a limited income. I knew we would have to pay ... read more

Do not use this company.....they will not come and take down there equipment....ITS STUCK TO MY WALLS! And there customer service department hung up on me as i was explaining the problems....garbage!

I've recently moved and was told by customer rep to NOT cancel but instead transfer service.I was told, by customer reps, to leave behind all equipment since I will be given new equipment at the new location. I have asked 3 times if I have to continue paying for leaving equipment at the old property to which customer reps assured me that once I transfer service, I will no longer will be needing to pay for equipment at the old house.Fast forward, now I was told that customer reps gave me wrong information and I am obligated t... read more

The cameras hardly worked as they described they should. At one particular point the system was down for like a week. I was forced into a contract I never signed but they apparently have my signature. I was told I was paying for cameras and after they were completely paid for I could keep theirs monitoring service if I wanted for a smaller fee. TERRIBLE! Dont recommend this company to anyone! Customer service is not helpful. Every call to them takes at least 45 minutes and nothing gets resolved. My system is not working properly for months now. I have called ADT several times in the past 10 days (all with long waits). On the last call I was told a technician was coming over and they were waiving the service charge. The technician arrived late. He asked what the issues were. Then he said he could not proceed with service unless I paid the $59 service charge. Told me... read more

Absolute worst company to deal with. Constantly get the run around and no answers. Taking payments for service that we tried to cancel from the day it was incorrectly installed and now sending an unexplained 1600 dollar bill after taking 2 payments while lying to us about it being cancelled. Guess ill have to alert the banking commission about how they fraudulently take payments. Would not recommend adt to anyone!! I chose 1 star because no stars isn’t an option

My secondary panel was malfunctioning so I contacted ADT for support.I chatted with 3 different Experts because the chat feature disconnects you if you do not keep it open at all times.They informed me that they would have to schedule a technician visit at a charge of $59. That is ridiculous with how much I paid for the equipment and how much I pay ADT every month.They were unable to tell me whether or not I would have to pay for a new panel if mine needs to be replaced.The fact that I might have to pay for a new panel is CR... read more

Absolutely disgusting company! Without too many personal details, I have to have a security system due to being a victim of multiple violent crimes. I have had nothing but issues with ADT. Every time I make a payment in the last few months, without fail, with money being in the account, the payments are put through and than reversed and than a fee added EVERY single time. I once had a payment put through 8 TIMES in one day and the bank called me for fraud because of the amount of times the transaction was initiated. ADT stat... read more
