I did the ***************************** promotion and was told my Nest devices would work with the ADT+ app, all of them don't, including my wired Nest doorbell. I can't cancel for the life of me! I have called in multiple times, they transfer me to a line that always says my call will be longer than 10 minutes and that I can press 1 for a call back. No one calls me back. After being a loyal customer for 7 plus years, my equipment was outdated and never worked. I requested to cancel n was told it would be 30 days. I requested they waive they upcoming bill as my equipment hadnt worked in months and thats why Im canceling. I was told my charges would be waived. On the date I normally am charged I still got that charge and when calling to request a refund I was told a cancellation was not even put in system but they refused to refund my money. They conned ** into a contract, and then gave us faulty equipment. We called over 5 times to get our stuff serviced/fixed and it never got fixed. The doorbell camera never worked, and we had that fixed THREE times. Our fire alarm that they gave us goes off randomly, and often times in the middle of the night which is fantastic since it wakes up our ****************** The door/window sensors never work and we had those replaced as well. This is the worst, most incompetent company. I got talked into ordering a security system on May 1, 2023 and within minutes I tried to cancel account. The girl, *****, took down the incorrect phone number so I was told that I didn't know my phone number and hung up on. Finally, late evening May 1, I was able to speak with someone who was willing to help me since I had the order number and all other information. ADT used to be a decent company but my recent experience with them showed me their true colors! This has become the worst fiasco and worst excuse for a wasted $700 plus for a system that does not even work! their own technicians don't know what to do when setting up their system. and to get a refund , don't bother asking wait for h*** to freeze over before that will occur!they will use every excuse to not do anything.. Don't trust the salesmen. They like to flash their "30 day no cost trial." There is no 30 day trial. The moment you sign, they are putting you into a 3 year contract. These are some of the most shady businessmen in the world. ***********************, you should be behind bars.
Horrific customer service. I had a system upgraded, was told one price, then have been repeatedly charged another price. I have called customer service copious times, only to be transferred, and have loooooong wait times. Several months later, the problem is still not resolved. I continue being charged the incorrect amount. This is unconscionable, especially coming from such a large corporation.
I have had no issues with the product. However, The customer support has been horrible. I called and asked to cancel my service and payout the amount due on my contract. I have had nothing but issues. They will not let me pay, and give me the run around sending me to multiple different departments who are not able to assist me. So, now I am having to wait for yet another billing cycle to then see if I can pay the bill. I will not be returning as a customer.
