The copy has very poor support. They want the money with not willing to send tech support when you call. Then when you cancel, because it a contract. They still want you to pay even though they can not provide the services as contracted. Company is too big to provide good customer services.

Do not use this company. Equipment arrived 3-22, but account could not be created so I have had zero use of this product. Customer service is worthless.

This company has done nothing but been a pain in my **** since I got it two years ago my camera has went out on numerous occasions the last one being April 4 when my Internet was out, I contacted the company about my new router information for my Internet and they told me they would have to installer out. They sent the install out. He said he couldnt get a signal, and that I had to get a part that would get a bigger signal And to go through my telephone company to get it. Dont recommend anyone do business with ADT. Business had an existing system, rep came out and I relayed the services I wanted, access to cameras on my phone or iPad and alarm. He assured me the existing system would provide those services. After a year and a half and 20 plus technicians , cameras still dont work, and never had to access off site to camera footage. I was misled into a one year contract with ADT (after having been a customer over 20years) to get my bill lowered to a new rate due to difficulty to pay. I was never told I would have to pay for the unused months if I decided to cancel. After I found a company offering a much lower rate than ADT, that is when I was told I would have to buy out the contract. I told the agent I never agreed to a contract. You thieves conned me into getting this crappy alarm service and after demanding that I needed this trash for a year. One of your disgusting agents signed me for a three year contract! You are a sad excuse of a company and I regret the day I decided to get you!!! I should have stuck with Ring!!!!! It was a less expansive route than this trash!!!!!!!! If I can give zero stars to this c*** I would!!!!!!!!!!

I will never use ADT services ever again. Their contract is basically a contract you cant even get out of because youre still paying the same as you would if you keep it. So whats the point of being able to cancel the contract? I was moving from a house to an apartment and wanted to cancel my services with them in general but everytime I called, their agents would always pushed me to get their BLUE security system for my apartment to get a transfer of services of a cancellation. I am moving from a house to an apartment next month. Been paying $76 for sensors and cameras (that do not capture all images and motions) for the last 2 years now. And since I am tied up to a contract of 3 years, I still have a year to pay for ADT's subpar services. My new apartment has cctv and security systems built within the lease contract which is wonderful. Hence, there is no such need from me to continue with ADT anymore. I had the service put in when I bought my home. I called many times about the service when the alarm would go off and never recd a call or any contact. Later I was advised this was due to the battery. I always had billing on auto pay so that there would never be an issue there well in Dec. 22 my credit card was compromised and so the bank closed my account and issued a new card.
