1 start because I had to choose a rating but no star is the true rating.Do NOT I repeat do NOT get services from this company especially the branch office in ******* (owner **** and office clerk ***************************!) they are far from professional! They will try to make it impossible for your to cancel after they send you your buy out. They will not return your call then block your number when all you want to do it cancel and pay them. ADT DO NOT CARE ABOUT DISABLE VETERANS AT ALL AND CHARGED AND ARM AND A LEG, FOR EACH ITEM YOU WANT TO ADD. THEIR PACKAGES **** AND SO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY THERMOSTAT FROM THEM **** AND IT IS NOT THE **** TYPE THEY IFFER ME WHEN I GOT MY ADT PLAN, THRU USAA. THE THERMOSTAT DO NOT EVEN HAVE A BRAND NAME and is not the nest. This is not good for business.I decided to go with adt wireless i was not pleased with it.I returned it in time to be refunded as I was told but instead adt took 430 in total Spoke to multiple account specialists to get my refund no success they say they tried to send it but when I spoke to my bank no attempt was ever made.

ADT are like many companies its about lying about the fine print. Then giving you the run around when you actually find out they were lying. They told us as long as you have the cameras we will come out and take care of them. My doorbell camera keeps falling off, now they want to charge me ***** for someone to come out and fix it. Or video chat me to fix it.You installed a bad install, now it is my fault.Tried calling them 2 days long hold waits over an hour. Horrible. Our equipment constantly doesn’t work and they want to charge me for them to come out and look at it. We haven’t changed a thing where our equipment is and it just stops working. They don’t tell you how long your contract is and then you get stuck in a contract for years, and it cost HUNDREDS to cancel it.

ADT has been unwilling to resolve my system issues since November 2022. When I called in November, we were told that we need to wait 3 weeks for the sensors to be mailed to us, and were advised to bypass the windows. We live across the street from a public park and it was the holiday season. I am confused about why this would be acceptable. We have not been able to arm and protect our home due to faulty window sensors. Had my service transferred from Arizona to Florida, but they did not cancel my Arizona house. Did not notice that I was getting double billed for over a year. Had 3 different representatives in Accounts agree that they owed my refund for the year, but their superiors would not approve it. Classless company!!!

We own multiple properties and we hired ADT to install on more than property. We found ourselves a little more than 2 years into our contract on our primary home, having to move for business reasons and when I called to cancel after I paid off the equipment they said we had a 3 year contract and had to pay 75% of the balance. I will never do business with them again. I will be sure to I tell my tenants, my friends, colleagues, and anyone willing to listen that should be illegal. They canceled my account without my consent claiming that I had called to cancel 2 months earlier because of a financial hardship. This is impossible because my payments are auto debited and I had never once missed a payment. Since I set up the service 2yrs ago I have never once spoken to the customer service department before this issue. They told me they were going to re-instate my services and reverse the bill but low and behold they told me that because my home was pending sale they could not re-instate it.
