This company sold ** and installed security cameras that did not work. Their initial tech came out to our remote location and told us we had enough internet service. We paid their monthly fee for 3 years/purchased the equipment (very expensive) and later learned after someone entered our property multiple times without 3 cameras detecting them that we had been scammed. I have had my home monitored by ******** Security for over 20 years. ******** recently sold to ADT. My keypad went blank so i did a video tech call and the service tech could not help. He told me to call ADT for technical service. They told me they would have to replace the ENTIRE system for the low low price of $1700!!! *** had the nerve to tell me "today is your lucky day" b/c we have 0% interest financing!!! Worst company i have ever dealth with. I cannot cancel. They put me on hold and kept transferring me back and forth so i couldn't get ahold of someone who could cancel me. This is fraudualnt. I hope they are investigated! Their service has not been working at our house for almost 2 years.

I called to cancel my service due to moving. I talked to over 10 representatives and each one transferred me. I was on the line almost two hours. The representatives did not say they are transferring, the hold time is ridiculous to speak to someone. The representatives are not knowledgeable. Probably work from home employees doing nothing. Im so disappointed in ADT which is suppose to be a replicable company. I will never use there services again!!! I still do not have my service cancelled. my wife had called and spoke to them about installing then they told us that there would not be any contract and that we can cancel anytime we like so as we gave the cameras a chance for few month and we dont like the cameras as it does not catch everything that happens so called back to cancel their services then they proceed to tell us that we had to pay $3,000.00 to cancel since they tricked my wife and i signing the papers so now we are suffering with auto pay every 2 weeks as they lied to us so we are going without food... read more

A customer for 10+ years. Always I experienced hiccups with their customer ********************. Last fall, I asked for an upgrade on my system and they wanted $800. What?! I decided that was it, I cancelled my services when the contract was over in late November. They charged me for two extra months afterwards. Three calls since March and Im still awaiting for my two-month refund ($100). Every call I have to wait 10 ****. days for it. This company is a joke. Here is **** and still nothing! Stay away!

Adt is a horrible company, I wouldn't recommend to anyone, no customer service, very poor management, I installed 4 cameras, over 2 weeks ago, and they haven't been able to set up my app on my computer or cell phone, so we are unable to see the cameras if we are away from home, we have called many times and the problem is not solved, I want to cancel and they still want to charge me for the equipment!! awful

I want to give them 0 stars but since that is not an option, they get 1. I have had nothing but problems for 2 going on 3 years now with ADT. First and foremost, it is ridiculous that I have to start a new contract every time I move. One move, I even use all of the same equipment from the last home and still had to start a new contract. I truly believe that is the only way they can keep a customer because otherwise I would not be here. I hate that I even have to give a 1 star rating. This was the worst experience ever. Sales representatives makes the start up process quick and easy. Everything after that is a complete nightmare. You cant get anyone on the phone. You cant cancel service for months. After the 30 days you are now charged a 75 percent cancellation fee. They are a total ripoff
