We scheduled an appt for installation two weeks ago. We took off from work waiting ALL day for ADT to show up. At about 2:30 to 2:45 we get a call from ADT who told us they are cancelling our installation b/c the tech is behind. We informed them we took off work for this and ******* did not care. We told her were would just cancel and go to another company and again she did not care. She canceled our install without any concern for the customer or use losing time from work for this. Unacceptable.
8 years as a loyal customer gets you horrible customer service. We began to have problems a few months ago and have not been able to use our security system since then, yet have continued to pay for service. After spending hours and hours trying to fix it remotely, including the shipping an incorrect battery, shipping it back, numerous other things they were trying to address. i have been with adt for 12 years. i called because.my System kept going off. I told them this has been a ongoing issue. they then set up a date and time to have someone come out never told me. They never showed up but charged my account $201.52 i have called in three times to have it removed and still fighting with them. they are charging for services that never happened. do not use ADT!!!!
A person stole my hand remote to set my system, I was on hold 74 minutes when I was to a 32 minute wait. Then was told they had to schedule an appointment for someone to call me back. The appointment was between 7pm and 7:30pm. I waited till 8pm to call back. I was on hold again for another 41 minutes only to find out they would have to schedule some one to call me back the next evening between 7pm and 7:30pm. Horrible! Cancelled my account because they could not come out and fix a problem that we were having to set alarm. So there was no reason to continue to pay for a system that did not work. This was 6 months ago that this account was cancelled and they are continuing to charge me for the service. I have called every month for them to stop taking money out of my bank account. I had no obligation left per contract for them to continue taking payments. Every time you call you get the run around and end up on the phone for hours.... read more
I am a customer with **********************. March 2023 I updated my security System and added a camera to protect the rear of the house. The technician who installed the camera lied to me and insured me that this camera was electrical and did not need to be charged up! I am 74 years old and the camera was placed over the rear entrance of the house. Three months after the installation I am notified that the battery is down and needed charging. ADT ***** balls! Especially *****************, Rep #******! I just took over a property that I inherited from my dad and he had a Adt.. while trying to get everything out of his name I was just wanting the system transferred over to me.. apparently a signature was made electronically that made me commit to a 36 month contract. I am selling the place, so why would I sign a 36 month contract? I never signed anything electronically or on paper. I have had a horrible experience with ADT * The 4 Cameras I have been paying for over the last 2 years, have not been working properly. They do not get triggered by motion like they are supposed to. * Automatic Payment system doesn't work. I've tried to set up auto-pay at least 10 times, the payment would not get processed automatically, then they add the remainder of the equipment installment payments to your monthly payment, and say that you have a balance of $1,300 due now.* Canceling the contract is a nightmare - if you ... read more
Lack of service or care for me as a customer lead to months of no working system plagued with false alarms. One i cancelled, I was then barraged with over charging and moths of service charges I should not have received. Currently ADT , in my opinion owes me a refund, but has sent my name to a collection agency.
