We had ADT Commercial when they took over from Protection1. After they took over, ADT raised their prices every 3 months. Finally had enough and tried to cancel which took 3 emails and 3 phone calls with a lot of on-hold time.A month later we got a bill for 5 days of service for $70. After 30 minutes on hold and with 2 **************** people, all they could say was "that's the charge", and they threatened to charge ** more.Greedy company, no loyalty to long-time clients, and the reps are worthless.

We are a military family and when we signed up for services we were assured that the early termination fee would be waved if my husband received orders to a place that we can't use them. That apparently is not the case and they will not wave the fee. ADT is not military friendly so if you are in the military I suggest going with someone else.

My 81 Year old mother called in to ADT to cancel the service she has been using for the past 10 years. They would not allow her to cancel and would not allow her to talk to a supervisor. Now I am calling. The first time... after hitting about 10 prompts to get to the cancellation department I was disconnected. I am now calling for a second time and have been on hold for a half hour. God awful. We signed up for ADT. Was great as long as you paid them and nothing went wrong. Then our system stopped working and we never really turned it on that much so we canceled. However, they continued to charge us refusing to reimburse us for a canceled service. Last I checked that was illegal. So every month I call and wait on hold for 1.5 hours only to be guaranteed that it was canceled and guess what??? It isnt. Every month they just charge away.

An ADT salesperson sold my elderly mother (who has dementia) a security system which she can't afford. The guy knocked on her door and sold it to her, she does not even have wifi to run it. I keep calling the number the salesman left on the system but he is totally ignoring me. I have also texted him. I have called the ADT ***** number and no one has called me back. It is not like the sales person could not tell that she is having memory issues. I have a care taker that is there during the week and one 1/2 time on the weeken... read more

being with them 10 years and now they want 800-1000.00 to replace 1 sensor on a 15 year old system. Plus I signed a contract back in 2015 with Central alarm that was 5 yrs and now they want me to buy out the rest of the auto renewing contract. Total BS and very unfriendly, unhelpful customer service. They obviously don't care about my business and how long Ive been a great customer. New company will replace sensor for *****.

ADT customer service is the worst!! I called to cancel my service & because I couldn't remember my password from 20 years ago, they have to send you in the mail a reset. Are you kidding, I was on hold for 37 minutes waiting & when ****** couldnt help, I asked to speak to a manager. Conveniently they were in a meeting. My case #******** so I can complain to no one since I dont have my password or account number- drafted payment & paperless account but found my original paperwork from January 16, **** with no account number. ADT salesperson *********************** told us that we were buying the equipment we used for security and that was why ADT charged so much for their services. He also told us that ADT would transfer the equipment to our new residence if we moved. If they did not have services in that area we could cancel the contract if we had time left on the three year service agreement. We are moving and contacted ADT to see what they would be able to do. They have no services in MT where we are going but told us that was our tough luck ... read more

Haven’t signed up, haven’t agreed or spoken with anyone yet They have and still attempting to withdraw from account. This unlawful and unethical business.
