Absolute joke ... we had the CCTV installed and there was at least an 18 second delay and we have great internet service, we called the next day to cancel. April 27th, got a confirmation of cancelation, since then they have not refunded our money and have taken 2 payments out of our account. We have called at least 5 times and been promised a refund of our money, as of today they owe us $102.32. No one can seem to process a refund but definitely know how to keep taking money! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Unbelievable. I needed to cancel service. I called 3 times. Was hung up on 3 times. Called back again and was placed on hold for 45 more minutes only to be hung up again. Called another day and requested a call back. Was never called back. Finally got through today after 45 minutes on hold. I am trying to cancel my service with ADT (after 14+ years with ADT). I am trying to trim cost. I have tried unsuccessfully to call several times, wait times 93 min, 169 min, 120 min. regardless when I call.I tried customer service instead - wait time under 5 min- and they are unable cancel my account and also unable to connect me to the department with a wait time under 2 hrs.At the least this is an imbalance in resource allocation, at worst it is a deliberate attempt to frustrate peoplewhy try, they are going to cancel any... read more
I have had ADT Security for the past 3 years. The other day I was approached by another company and purchased their protection. ADT never once offered to upgrade my system and so we began to have trouble arming the system due to poor internet service. I called to cancel the service sense my contract had expired. I called the number listed for cancelling and after telling the representative what I wanted they needed to pass me to another department. One star is too good for them. Horrible customer service and rude as h*** Screwed us on the installation of the product. Got info wrong and so as we had geek squad come out they could not help ** because ADTs stupidity. How can you have my back when your closed on the weekends.??????take your garbage and stick it in your?????
**************** is horrible. They literally will refuse to cancel your service then give you several different amounts. Supervisor call request not acknowledged. Reps overtalk the customer. Horrible all the way around.
I'm writing this hoping that my issue gets resolved, but mainly because I want other people to avoid this situation. I received an email from Google with a promo code for ADT services, because they will no longer be supporting Nest next year. It seemed like a good deal to me, so I called to sign up. It took extremely long process and time on the phone to cancel service. I had to listen to a 10 minute sells pitch prior to cancel. This is after several dropped calls, a first customer service that struggled with English, then on hold for over 45 minutes. Invested serval hours to cancel. The last is I am on the hook for fees for another 30 days. It is their policy for cancellation.
