I have had ADT for many ************ automatically take out the monthly payment but on October 25, 2023 ADT took out 2 payments when I called them they said computer ********** have to wait until the end of November to get my $71.31 reimbursed to my account. They also said they would call me back & let me know if there is any way they could speed up the process.. guess what??? ADT should absolutely be ashamed to call themselves a business. I was a customer for nearly 23 years. My ********************** system was old and at the end of July 2023, it started giving me multiple problems and and after having technicians come out on multiple occasions, the last technician informed me that the system was irreparable, so I decided to cancel my services with ADT and I opted not to upgrade because I was no longer under contract. Worst company ever!!! After 3 attempts, they still will not come to fix my problem. I did 3 times with support technicians but it wont stay armed. I feel if I get robbed Ill seek court restitution. I was told Id have to pay for a technician to come to my home. Some warranty!!!!
Like others, if I could give no stars, I would. I have been a customer of ********************** since ****. We had several multiple false alarms (in the early hours of the morning) and, despite a number of "service" calls, ADT was unable to fix the issue and was more interested in selling me a new wireless system. I have been an ADT customer for over 25 years with absolutely no issues. We recently upgraded to their new system and just had our system go down for the third time in about 6 months. Fortunately, I watched the last service tech (who was very good) disconnect the controller to allow it to reset by removing all power, including the battery, from the system (I had to pay for the service). Hate is a strong word, but I HATE ADT security services. The cameras are horrible and well as the customer service. If I wasn't stuck in a contract with them, I would have left them a year ago. The first agent I talked to was rude and had the nerves to ask if I could go on top of the house and check the driveway camera..smh. That's their techs job. 7 years as a customer. canceling TODAY! Waiting to see if they'll call back. If not I will take out the system and throw it in the garbage where it belongs. I will never do business with them again
If I could give no stars I would. I have the same experience that has been repeatedly said. I have been a customers through 3 homes and 12 years. The last 5 years in the last house nothing has worked correctly. We have had the entire system replaced. It has gotten so bad with false alarms on vacations and then finally going off repeatedly while we sleep when it was not even armed!!! When they sent the installer to my home, he was high on weed. It was not shocking that the system was installed incorrectly. I got a call from home office apologizing. They sent a second guy out, I am now locked out of my house. Second guy at least came back to figure out that the lock was installed incorrectly and fixed it. Fast forward to a year later. I call BEFORE I sell the house to tell them that I need my service disconnected on 10/12/2023 as I am selling the house, spent the hour on the phone being transferred around... read more
