I think this company is the worst way to high, quoted one price then got my bill over doubled, i would never recommend this Company . they say one thing make it sound like their the best, just because they have been taking advantage of people for so long. If you notice their are so many homes with the key pad but no service once they get thru there equipment contract. they claim to be around for so long because because they lock you in for as long as they can. their employees that have come to my house use RING. Since June2 2023, I have called ADT over 10 times to resolve my issue. It is still unresolved.Tge camera and batteries have been swapped out at least three times and the batteries are still draining after 25 hours of operation.I am a disabled veteran. For me.to claim the ladder every day to replace the batteries is not OK. TO MAKE THINGS.*****, I am recovering g from knee surgery. I am totally dissatisfied with ADT. They sold me outdoor cameras which they said would notify me if someone came into my yard. Instead, it notifies me every time a leaf blows, snow *********. ADT's answer to my complaint was to send out a tech to "fix" the settings. After doing this several time I told them this wasn't fixing the problem and that's when they told me what they sold me would never work the way they said it would and now that it was beyond the return time so the solution would be to sell me a new system. I asked for an estimate. They came for an install and billed me as a new account. They never saw my house to know what it looked like or what I needed. The salesman told me if I liked the price I could do the install. The person who came told me he only installs and is not a salesman. I sent him home. I called the main line. I now am an active customer and cannot cancel. Totally dishonest and criminal.
On 30 October 2023 I mailed in a request for cancellation of Services to ADT effective 30 October 2023, then I followed up with a phone call to confirm that my request has been received.Now I'm getting emails and phone calls stating my payment is overdue. I was with ADT for 5 plus years and this is how they treat their customers.Unacceptable.C Gundolff
God help you if you need customer support. The time you have to wait on death-hold is impressive. Then you get transferred because the person you're talking to barely speaks English. While they say that they value my time, that's BS. If they valued my time they'd pay enough people with basic communication skills to answer the phones during standard business hours.
ADT will not help you if your alarm is disarming its self I tried to upgrade they did not show up for the appointment charge me $99 for deposit said they couldnt find the new contract to upgrade or my $99 deposit I have proof I have emails they say they dont have the email on my deposit or mine appointment .I have a bank statement and no one is willing to help ADT do not care about people, I called Corporate they cant help or wont help,now Im going to the Better Business Bureau. my original contract was with ******** ATT too... read more
This company is so dysfunctional and chaotic, and with the all time worst worst customer serviceit seems fake.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My service has not worked properly since installation on 7/2022. The door sensors constantly malfunction and I am unable to set the alarms. I have lost count on how many technicians have fixed the sensors. They refuse to cancel my contract and continue to send more technicians out.
