Absolutely BULLSHIT! They have you sign a contract with so many hidden fees and lock you into s*** you have no idea about! How the f*** Im locked into a 5 year contract and I rent for 12 months. They customer agents are s***** and half a** tell you everything. This is the worst fuckn adt ******** a** security system I know.
after 7 months of signing up with ADT, I realized it was one of the worst decisions of my life. I was with CPI for 15 years and never had an issue. Poor installation from day one, damage to my house while installing. Add to that the very bad quality equipment that had to be replaced few months after installation. The bad thing that they will not honor any warranty and they will charge you for those equipments. Unfortunately im stuck with a three years contract.
Was a customer for 15+ years. Recently discovered ADT quietly slips a clause into their contracts allowing them to charge an extra month's fee after canceling their service. They also apparently give out private customer account data. We were visited recently by sales representatives of Brinks Security. They tried a high-pressure sales pitch - which included showing us our ADT alarm system type and payment contract with ADT. I would not recommend this company to others.
Quoted a price based on our current system and the price more than doubled because all of the current equipment (cameras and smoke detectors) with the exception of the sensors are obsolete. We were expecting to only, worse case, have to upgrade the panel which was upgraded two years prior. We were obviously (purposely) misled to renew our contract with ADT. The worst company. Do yourself a favor and buy the equipment yourself and install it. They are useless and will bind you to their useless 3 years, 5 year contracts like a prisoner. And you cant get out. They just want your money and have no logic. Do not get it! You can do it yourself! Their technicians are useless and after they get you under the contract, they wont answer you.
ADT is by far the worst security service ever. They advertise false information, give false information, sale merchandise that have defects, and have technicians that dont install equipment professionally, and properly. Didnt program system at installation, camera wasnt working and I reached out to ****** services to help fix this issue the day of installation because ADT technician didnt do it. They will sell you a large contract for five years 100+ AMOHNT! Then they charge for equipment a lot! so far ****+. I think this is how they make their money. I am looking at stuff in a box and payment them! YOU can never MOVE THEY WILL NOT USE OLD AND charge for the old and NEW, THEN YOU HAVE TO DO AUTO PAYMENT. Then they take out money years later! Hello, if I could, I would give this company zero stars. They delivered a box to my house and didnt install it for me. Didnt give me customer service. I feel like I have donated money $40 a month to this company for nothing please beware of what you sign. I regret signing a contract with this company. It was the worst thing I could ever do now I need to get help by the Better Business Bureau because this company is not on the up and up sincerely.
We were sold an ADT security system that included 4 cameras, we paid $1600. We asked questions and were lead to believe the cameras were integrated to ADT like the ADT system we had in *******.During the installation we were told by the installer that no, the cameras are a stand alone system and not part of ADT, we began to question the salesman and were told by him that he never said the cameras were ADT. This in not true.We have spent hours arguing this with ADT to no avail. It seems they will lie. Be VERY careful.
