HORRIBLE SERVICE, WHEN I FINALLY CANCELLED THE AGREEMENT SO I COULD USE MY SAME EQUIPMENT ELSEWHERE THEY WOULD NOT RELEASE IT FOR ALMOST 4 MONTHS!
THIS is the WORST COMPANY I have ever subscribed to. They are LITERALLY trying to not allow me to cancel my service, so that they can continue to ***** me for money every month. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ADT THEY WILL NEVER ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL!!!! They do not allow you to cancel online, they put you on hold for over one hour, and when a human FINALLY answers, they literally IGNORE your request to simply "cancel my service" and go on and on and on and on about "the safety of your family" etc etc. I honestly think I have to get a la... read more
ADT is the worst company I've ever done business with. As a loyal customer for 6 years, I appreciated the sense of security I felt having an alarm system. The company upgraded the radio transmitter for my system. Immediately I began receiving communication errors, and my system not getting a signal. The constant annoyance of the alarm beeping every few seconds was enough to drive anyone insane. Multiple calls were made to customer service, but the issue persisted for days. This company is a giant SCAM. They do not call when the alarm goes off, they will give you attitude when asking for police assistance. They will not help you if you want to cancel or terminate your account/contract. The customer service is awful. The wait times on hold are insane.
Ive been with ADT for a year. Im having problems with the system. I paid a tech to come install and teach me how to use the system last year. That tech failed to tell me that there were batteries that needed to be changed and how to do that. But, **** was so kind as to inform me I should have read my contract for that information. *** spent the last 3 days on the phone with you trying to solve this issue. Worst service and customer service EVER. The sales agent sold me a product which after 5 times of me asking at the very least he still sold it to me telling me it would work. Well it doesnt and I paid for upfront system. I call the account manager ****************** will make sure to follow policy and did not refund me though they made the mistake. ADT had an individual call me who seemed incompetent, the man then tried to get me to download a third party application onto my phone. Then told me after he could not get my issue resolved that for a tech to come to my home would be a charge of 100 dollars and then additional for every 30 minutes, I am highly displeased with this company and the man's unprofessionalism. ADT is deceptive. After telling me that there is no charge for relocating their service to another location. I was told that if I keep my service I would not be charged a fee since I was moving it to my new location. However, I got two bills for $2000.00ea an earlier termination fee and a relocation fee.
