This company scammed me. On march 25, ******************************************************** ******* to *******. According to the contract there was not penalty because it was a transfer of service. The advisor told me the had to send me new equipment and she told me the old had stayed in the old house and I insisted abot it was transfered and there was not penalty, what she totally affirmed and she told me to ingnore any email related to because everything was squared up and I should just keep paying my service normally, ... read more
Wish I had looked at these reviews first, cause just wanna say "Ditto". Have never involved BBB before with a company but here we go...Bought a house that had some ADT stuff already so we went with them....Now, have spent thousands of dollars on a system that hasnt ever worked, and worse than that, they've messed up my electrical for other things that worked before they got involved like my HVAC, etc. Stick with your blink cameras from lowes and save your money.
DO YOU USE THIS HOME SECRETLY SYSTEM ( I recommend vivint smart home ) I have been trying to cancel service for the past 3 months and I am still unsuccessful. And for the love of god do no take an installation loan. I am out $2500 dollars because of incompetent idiots that cant inform people to save their lives. Apparently they dont tell you theyre a $1200 dollar cancellation fee on top of your installation fee. If I could give negative stars I would. They are horrible, literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have spent countless hours with them trying to fix biling issues and never gertting the same answer. They lied and did not give me the credits that they said I would get, then when I called them out on t** they said we can only offer 2, which is ******** when they told me I would get 3 months worth at MINIMUM. I have called ADT six times in the last two weeks and have been told that I would get a call back regarding my concern. I have yet to hear from them. My concern is a safety issue regarding the Nest Google doorbell so it is ironic that a so-called security company will not help me.
I have never dealt with a company that is so driven to NOT provide service to customers. They go to great lengths to avoid talking to you, and providing service. I highly recommend using any other available service. This review page prohibits the use of my email address, however, I would gladly post it otherwise to save someone else the aggravation
ADT has been a nightmare to try and cancel. I get sent to a no mans land of calls for more than 30 minutes. Then finally you get a service representative who wont take no for an answer and will keep you on the phone forever until you break down and allow them to send someone to try and fix a problem. After they couldnt even fix the system and I inform the agent again that I am not renewing with ADT, they continue to send me bills every month. Ive had to cancel my card so they stop charging me. I bought a new home 3-30-22 I closed. April a salesman knocked in my door, sold me ADT security alarm system with monitoring. I signed on paid almost $1800 for system with$56.35 monthly monitoring service. I installed Blink cameras from last home both systems were connected to WI-FI. I lived in this home a month and it started to be broken into. I got this service in the summer of 2022 after my daughter's car was broken into. The salesperson told me that it would be month to month and I could cancel anytime just by returning the equipment. I had problems installing the equipment within the first week of receiving it. I called customer service for assistance and was met with a nonchalant clueless person who couldn't help. I ended up getting assistance from a neighbor and finally installed the first camera. The camera worked ok for a couple days but the system always ... read more
