My system for home protection is not working. I called for technical support. I am relegated to a complex computer guide to search the problem. They charge $60.00 for technician visit. They want to charge a $500.00 fee for cancelling service. I was told nothing about cancellation fee when I signed up 2 years ago. I simply want to cancel!

Do not ADT for your protection services. Multiple issues without support, they charge to send anyone to your home for any reason. They extended contract terms via email for 5 years.

ADT installed our system 1 year ago. We were quoted the price for the equipment and told about the monthly service fee. We paid to install all equipment and paid our monthly fee until we sold our house one month ago. When we called to close the account due to the sale of the house, ADT told us that we owe them thousands of dollars because we did not keep them for 5 years. This system is garbage, the cameras do not always work and the service in general is terrible, the control panel does not work properly, when you call them the only thing they say is that the problem is the internet, but I am sure that the internet is not is the problem

The very worst company I have ever dealt with! *** tried to cancel my account several times and been put on hold for over an hour and passed through multiple people before finally speaking with someone who said they cancelled my account. However, when I asked how I would receive confirmation about the cancellation, I was told via email. I still havent seen the confirmation and am concerned Ill be charged again. Zero positive remarks I can make about ADT!!! The worst!

This company locked me into a 5 year contract, which I was well aware of. Now that i need them to come and fix some things in my system that have not worked for over 8 months. They want to charge me an exorbitant amount of money. I have been a customer of ********************** for well over 10 years. Something has recently change for the worst, Stay away from this company!!!!!!!!!

I have had my ADT system for about 6 months. I have had faulty signals and with no help from customer service except, they will walk you through the system but not show up unless you pay. I paid for a system with faults and have spent countless hours on the phone sometimes late at night due to the system not working. I was standing in my kitchen and my front window alarm sounded shattered glass, nothing was wrong at all. Poor system, wouldn't recommend. I got security cameras from ADT installed at my business a year ago, and one of the cameras stopped working. When I called to report that, the customer service rep said that there will a charge for the technician to come and take a look at it and depending on what is wrong there will be additional charges. Since the cameras are provided by ADP and are being leased, I was expecting them to cover any repairs but looks like thay are just after money and zero customer service. I’ve had Safe Haven and moved to a new location and was almost towards the end of my contract. I’ve worked with Safe Streets and they told me I can cancel since I’m getting new services and the fee will be waived. It turns out that I’m stuck paying the termination fee and a new 36 month contract which is ludicrous. I’ve been deceived and this is unfair business practice. I’m looking to sue them.<br />
