I was a resident customer with ********************** for ** years .I had. good service relationship with ADTI am a working senior,live alone. What has happened to customer service??? This company is the WORST when it comes to customer service. I purchased glass shatter devices from them and did not feel confident the rep knew what she was doing in attempting to set up the devices. I called ADT the next day, explained to the tech the devices were linked to their service, but we never tested if they actually worked. I was quoted a different price and when I tried to cancel, I got the run around. They kept saying someone will call you back or placed me on hold and hung. This is the worse customer service I have ever had. Why does it take 5 phone calls to cancel and it's still not canceled. I have to report this to my credit card company. I know there are better security services out there.
I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option. Total bait and switch company! Got a quote on the hour long phone call I had with them and then when the guy came out we took away many things we didnt need and he tried charging us MORE! $100 a month for 5 years. Wasnt long we told the guy to kick rocks and received a phone call from the manager to get the prices down. No thanks! I dont need a lying company monitoring my home. I wish I could do negative 10 stars. This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with!! Do not sign anything they send you! Its all a scam. I wanted to send the equipment back that I didnt use and couldnt get a hold of a single person that could help me with that. They are oils always pick right up for billing questions but if it had to do with returning equipment nope they wont answer. I put a security system in due to an emergency situation. I was court ordered to move out of residence. Adt is aware that I am unable to use the service or equipment but refuses to release me from contract of 5 years.
The ADT + app which is for the self setup system does not work. It has been glitching and crashing. I have spoken with ADT reps every day for the past week and they have no solution for them Problem they stated to be aware of. You cannot run your system without the app and so your alarm is useless. They set me up with apts with service experts twice and both times they did not call, nor emailed. They set me up with a video call account manager to help fix the problem and they didnt call or email either. The reps ***** friend... read more
I contact ADT on 10/01/23 to reqst for service asap. They rep I spoke with informed that he can send someone out as earliest as of 10/02/23 at 1pm CST. The time came and went, roughly around 1:30p CST I contact ADT to be told that my tech is behind and that he will not be out to my home until 5pm. After I placed the call than ADT contact me informing me that the tech is still coming but at a later time. The tech didn't come until 7:15-7:30ish. Big difference from 1pm.
