After we moved, they kept charging us for services even though we called and cancelled service. Tried to call and stop the continuing charges and they made it very difficult. Must have transferred us 10 times taking 1.5 hours. Automatically deducted $700 plus dollars from our account without notification. This is the dirtiest company I have ever delt with. You have been warned of this scam of a service.
I was told by Secure 24 ADT that I would receive a $100 rebate a year after my account was set up and they owed me $50 for messing up my initial installation, but they only wanted to return the money to my credit card which was no longer working because I had to replace it due to a fraudulent charge. I've been trying since August 2023 to get my $150 and instead they have not honored their word and instead tried to give me an additional piece of equipment that I didn't need because my condo isn't that big and plus I don't wan... read more
I have been a customer for over 13 years with ********************** The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Hold time up to 3 hours to cancel service. FINALLY I was able to cancel the service from ADT NEVER GOING BACK TO ADT.... way better systems for less money and BETTER SEVICE... NOT SURPRISED TO SEE a 1 star rating on these guys..... ADT MANAGMENT .... WAKE UP !!! loosing customers left and right....

Zero! This company gets a zero. Just purchased a home in ******** that had ADT before we purchased and we are being harassed daily with sales people coming to the door at all hours of the day and night. The sales people are confrontational and refusing to leave. I had to threaten to call the police and his comment was, "should I wait for them?". This aggressive behavior is not okay. Worst company to deal with! Being a customer of 7 years we have had equipment malfunction numerous times. When trying to cancel I spoke to 6 different people and learned about a surprise charge. Terrible customer service!! I would NOT recommend.
ADT is deceptive. After telling you that there is a three year contract for their services and that it is free for basic monitoring after three years at the same residence, they then tell you there is a month to month charge after the three year contract. In other words, you pay for three years of service and then you pay month to month after that. Frankly, I was lied to at the beginning of my contract three years ago, and lied to again three months ago when I called to confirm my last contract payment in October 2023.
I have tried 3 different times and over the course of 5 hours to get my service cancelled and cannot get someone on the phone to get this done. Completely unacceptable.
I agree with everything said here. Stay away they will keep raising the prices and then wont even give you confirmation when you cancel & tell you they have to charge you 30 days more. Awful company, will never go with them again.
