This has been the worst experience Ive ever had with a company. My husband and I have had ADT for over 2 years- we recently sold our house and are moving states. We requested a move order with ADT which would allow us to keep our services and pay $29.99 for the relocation to continue the contract. The sales representative (assuming the work on commission) did not process a move order- instead created a new account for the house/state we are moving to and cancelled our contract at our current house resulting in our bank accou... read more

ADT doesn't let you cancel service online. They force you to do it by phone, then they put you on hold and never answer so you can't cancel. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I stated wrong my internet is working find its the carmera . the tech stated I needed more GB MORE **** , I call XFINIITY tech to come to HOME THE **** STATED THE **** IS ENOUGH TO RUN THE CAMERA .THE PASSWORD I GIVE TO ADT IS THE PASSWORD , I USE FOR MY HOUSE INTERNET WE COULD NOT GET IN TO THE INTERNET . ADT does NOT know a thing about ***************** It took quite a number of calls to have something resolved that occurred on 08/04/23. It wasn't resolved until 09/28! In one call, I spoke to at least 11 people over a 3 1/2 hour period-much of it On Hold. Each person asked me to explain the reason for my call which meant repeating the same thing 11 times. Each person also told me they would resolve it but then said I had the wrong department and transferred me to a different department where I was told the exact same thing-I... read more

they will not cancel my account. I can not afford the monthly payment. im on disability. They put me on hold until it times out. Ive called many times, and they keep doing the same thing. They are the worse company, I will never never never recommend them to anyone, And i will tell very one to do not get ADT. They dont deserve one star.

I never was officially signed with ADT my account was migrated from NorthStar 11/12/2022 ADT could never get my App back connected wanted me to buy their equipment to and change over. I told the person and several representatives I never wanted to be with ADT. I have been trying to get my contract emailed/mailed to me since 8/10/23 speaking to several representatives 6 to be exact, with lies being told they were sending it out 3-5 business days, emails being sent and still nothing as of 9/29/23 speaking to yet another repres... read more

ADT Security employs predatory practices. My 81 year old mother got suckered into a long-term contract that she did not realize was for 5 years. She just died of cancer and they are billing her for the remaining 3 years on her contract, nearly $600. I spent hours on the phone with customer service reps and (after being twice disconnected during call transfers to higher-**** was initially told her account would be refunded that charge. Called ADT because my alarm went off in the middle of the night at the first onset of cold weather. By codes on the panel, I knew that the problem was a sensor mounted on an exterior metal clad door. When I called the support line to report the problem and ask for a tech to come and adjust the sensor (ADT installed it, so it should be their responsibility) I ended up with a person in Columbia who could barely speak English.
