Pushy salesman bait and switched us. Tons of hidden fees. Terrible service. A glitch in their software meant our driveway camera didnt record our car being stolen right in front of the camera. The process of cancelling was painful, an hour of intentionally being put on hold, having desperate negotiations to get you to stay, ultimately for a steep cancellation fee for the endless contract you were pressured into in the first place.

What a horrible company. No one speaks good English. I needed battery replaced. I waited all day for technician and they told him the wrong battery to bring. Now I have to wait till Tuesday. I need to find another alarm company and get rid of these people. I have spoken to so many who work. There. All in foreign countries.

I had ADT for 13 years. In 2022 we moved to a new home and wanted to discontinue service from the old address to the new home. The technician used his phone saying I need to sign giving authorizing him to install the system so I did. He never used the words CONTRACT or AGREEMENT so I did because I never had a contract with them at the last address. A week later I had issues with the installation on eight windows. I have called three time , spoke to two representatives, they try to get you not to cancel. After I told them I wanted to move forward and cancel I was put on hold .Now wait is 66 minutes on third call. September 27, 2023 : time of flrst call 1:50 pm ( told 2 minute wait) Second call 2:08 ( told 7 minutes)Third call 2:24pm ( told 66 minutes)Customer for over 20 years.

Pray for me and I will pray for you if you have ADT. All I wanted was a functioning ring doorbell camera the person who installed it from ADT tried it once and it worked he left and it has not worked since he took the doorbell that was original to my ***** and worked for 40 years with him so I am without a doorbell I called the service **** and the person who came out replaced the ring video doorbell and it didn't work so he inform me that I need a transformer greater than 14 to connect with the internet and he is only servi... read more

I have been trying to cancel my ADT services for about two years. I cant get anyone on the phone to talk to, and I have seen Emails, that no one answers. I paid the bill in June and thought we had finally closed everything. Today I get a bill for $308.00 and and overdue notice. They can find me but I cant find them. Today I was able to break through and speak to person. She was very sorry and wanted to cut my bill in half. I told her NO! I am done with this, so she transferred me to a cancellation specialist. Their equipment is cheap and does not work properly. They have the worst customer service personnel, they can not answer questions or either you cannot understand what they are saying on the phone. Their wait times to discuss the problem has been 45 minutes to an hour. I have their outdoor home security system. It has broken down twice and it has not even been a year. The cameras went out month after month and guess what you have to pay 60 for someone to come out and change the camera out. They keep blaming it on the weather... read more

The new rebranding of the ADT ************ as ADT Self Setup with ****** is a complete NIGHTMARE!! STAY AWAY!! The equipment *****. The connectivity to ******/Nest cameras *****. Luckily I returned it during the 30 day ***** and after countless hours on hold got a refund for everything. Then I noticed a few months later, they are still charging me for monitoring on a system they received and refunded me for!? I had them for more than a year. Wasnt too happy so decided to cancel the service on 09/08/2023 was a hassle to get hold of someone. I was told ADT takes up to 30 days to cancel which is absolutely fine with me if that's the company policy. My account got charged on 09/16/2023 as it was on Autopay so I decided to chat with them they stated your account was never canceled.
