Highly untrustworthy company and customer service is horrendous. Have cancelled my service numerous times and Im still being charged. Each time I talk to a representative the policy changes.

I have had ADT for over 3 years. After several attempts to get problems corrected, I decided to cancel service. I have been on the phone for over 45 minutes and still trying to cancel. They have been charging me $64 per month. The equipment has not worked consistently for 2 of the 3 years. The alarm went off every time someone took a shower. The camera on the front of the house broke twice. It should not be so difficult to cancel my account. I do not recommend ADT under any circumstances.

we get to get technical problems at lest once a month. We have gone at least 3 months with out being able to capture events, the doorbell has had issues. They charge you to have a technician come out and fix things. They dont explain the system clearly and we have issues locating were they set up fire alarms. is not an easy system to manage . Their customer service is not that great. I think because there are so many unhappy customers, that it makes it difficult for the Customer service to deal with angry customers. Is not h... read more

ADT is a horrible company!!! They promised a free NEST door camera for signing up with them and never honored it. The tech who installed the system said he did not have one of his truck but he would come back. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with 5 different operators (after my husband gave up after getting the run around on another day). Two of those operators were clearly over seas and had very thick accents and were very difficult to understand, they kept putting me on hold hoping I would give up. Finally they jus... read more

Don't get it! It ended up being a costly mistake for me. They sold me a faulty system that malfunctioned 5 times, including at 2 am. I tried to cancel and they jerked me around. Finally, a week later, I talked to someone in the right department. But they wouldn't let me cancel without penalty even though their system was faulty. Bad product and bad faith company.

I had ADT for over a decade. Given that I had been calling for a few MONTHS that my system is not working, I gave up and hired another alarm company and went through installation. I have called to cancel and also sent ADT a certified letter. I am receiving emails that my system is working fine ( It can't be as it has been disconnected and put into the trash and a new system is in its place with another service) And, of course, I am still being billed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I am going to pursue this.

SUCKS! I have been their customer since 2016 and since Google has owned stock as majority partner prices go up and service is non existent unless by internet or really bad phone service where you are in a queue. ADT provides the MINIMUM SERVICE imaginable with a parent company GOOGLE that is the largest company in the USA. I have had zero upgrades to my home panel for the past almost 8 years if I was to hold out to May. I thought they would come around and start upgrading my main panel but they want ME to call, ME to install... read more
