All I can say about this company is they need to be under investigation criminal way they lie about what they do and they never follow through I had to bug them just to get my last bill so if you're looking for her they called themselves home security what a joke
I have the authorized confirmation # for termination of our account from 11/22. We are still receiving bills! I've written 2 letters to which they have not responded. This is bordering on harassment. We are so stressed over it. We are seniors with health issues. It seems we will have to contact a lawyer at OUR expense to sort out this matter. I am furious and upset.
I cant even give them a star. After 22 years of my business, they were absolutely horrible tonight. I had issues with my system all day. I called them 3 times today and each time they told me they had rectified the issue. When my system went off at 11 at night, yet again, and I couldnt stop the screeching noise of the alarm, they had me, a 62 year old woman, taking my system apart. I set up service with adt over a year ago. Since then, I have had repair services out 4 times. Each time the service only worked for 2-4 weeks before it quit working again. Each time I called, I was put on hold for at least 45 minutes. The repairman would come out, "fix" the system and it would work for a few weeks. I finally got tired of it and wrote them a letter telling them I wanted to stop service. I also called them and they told me I had to pay out the contract. I have been charged multiple times a month since I signed up in May 2023, including a few charges that were supposed to be for a tech coming out whom never came out. I have tried to get out of my contract because I am supposed to have a 6 month guarantee with no pentalities, but keep getting threaten with thousand dollar bills and lawsuits. Worst company I have ever had to deal with. My entire outside property was vandalized and nothing was picked up on the cameras. Contacted Adt to be told I can purchase new cameras for $170. Also was told they dont partner with ring any longer which is the doorbell I chose through them when I started services as you have to pick ring or blink. ADT installed an alarm system in my home on June 17,2023. The service tech intention was to get me to upgrade. I agreed to upgrade on the wall panel only. I had purchased my OWN smoke alarm and was told by the tech the smoke alarm comes free with my package, Since the alarm was free i took the smoke alarm back. I was charged by ADT $299.00 per smoke alarm. They charged me for five smoke alarm without my knowledge. No way i would have purchase $299.00, when had purchased the smoke alarm less than $25.00. ADT may be a national, well known company but they are the most rude, uncooperative company i've ever dealt with when trying to cancel service due to death and move into an assisted living facility. It took 3 calls, hold over 45 minutes, and endure a series of questions all aimed at nullifying the cancellation request and even trying to upgrade the service. I would NEVER use this company in the future.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased equipment and was paying on it monthly. I was under a contract for ADT service. My husband and I are moving homes and the sales person gave us the option to 1)pay off equipment in full and pay to break the contract or 2)pay off the equipment, buy new equipment, pay to have services moved, and pay monthly service fee.
