Do NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT After more than 15 calls to customer service and waiting for a 24 hour (call placed 7/18/2023) call back from their escalation department. Which I still have not received and it is July 27,2023. I advise you to not invest in the Blue by ADT system. Just sent a letter regarding termination I will update a review if and when I am contacted!
ADT is a crooked company praying on people to pay large sums of money up front for equipment and a contract. The installer scared my wife so bad that I had to drive 40 miles home from work to intervene. He did not install all equipment and did a poor job leaving wires exposed and left refusing to explain how to operate the alarm. We called the next day and were told we could cancel for a full refund which we did. Zero stars. They make it h*** to cancel. We've been trying to cancel for awhile (months) and when you finally get them on the phone, they try everything to get you to stay. They put you on hold, sometimes the system hangs up on you. Then at the end, they tell you a 30-day cancellation is required. What a gimmick!
We are owed $420 because we have been paying $60 every month for home monitoring but were found out that they were NOT monitoring our home for the past 7 months. Something made us go offline in January, which means no home monitoring. We have paid for services not rendered. I suggested they credit me one month (August) but refund me the rest (January-June). I'm not giving this company any stars at all, I will never use this company again or refer them to anyone I know. Been with them for only a year just to find out that I'm in a three-year contract for the ringing doorbell that I was unaware of. This thing breaks every time bad weather comes not even bad weather just rain and it keeps going offline to where for the whole year we barely even been able to see or do anything with the camera they were supposed to do. ADT used my old non working account to complete a work order for a current customer. I found out via receiving an email on July 24 2023 from a ******************* with ADT regarding an upgrade in services competed? My account has been closed since 2021? When I called to see if someone was using my account I received NO resolution only that it was a possible oversight? I wish I never used this fraudulent company beware as they scam

Waste of my time, money, energy, and patience! I wish I could share pictures of the amount of time I spent on hold to cancel my service only for them to CONTINUE to charge my account monthly! Id rather pay 10k in cancel than to have to EVER deal with this SCAM business again!
