They over charged me. Then when I have issues they said they could send me the parts and replace them my self. I did so and signed up for another year because they said it would fix my issue. It did no so I cancelled my account and the lady assured me multiple times I had a $0 balance and $0 termination fees. One month later I get auto charged for $56 and tried calling to get my money back and they claim its what I owed and theres nothing they can do. The service, is absolutely horrible. The late fee of close to $600 dollars is truly the most insulting and offensive charge I have ever received from a company that has really poor security monitoring services. Most days I could barely open the camera on my front door, from my app...to the long periods of loading time *with extra internet extension* that WE paid for to help boost its loading speed. Brinks is the worst home security system I have ever had. They want to charge me for damage that happened in Hurricane *** and now all of a sudden they no longer support Honeywell systems (which are what they installed). I wish I stayed with my previous security company. Horrible experience.
DO NOT USE ADT SECURITY. I've tried for several weeks to cancel services because they were not knowledgeable about my concern. I was hung up on several times and finally I was transferred to 6 different ppl just to cancel my services. The frustrating part is everyone stated they were transferring me to Account ******************** but were not. Having monthly camera issues for 2 years. Had my camera replaced last year. Had a teach out 6 time this year alone and over 20+ hours txting, calling and being accidentally hung up on. Im being told they have no record before Feb this year for my issue and I have to pay **** for a new system because mine is being phased out. I have regretted my decision to get ADT from day one. We got the alarm system and several cameras. The cameras are always going office. Some times they record every 3 minutes and sometimes they wont record for months. Regardless of what the setting are on. We have had them out to our home numerous times and have even had the system replaced but in doing that we had to sign another three year contract and we still have issues with the system. Sadly this is just another company whose sales people are all about making a dollar without consideration to those they serve. Their contracts are a farce, their service is worse and they do not hold up their end of anything. If you have issues with equipment, they replace and tag on more costs (even though it's their equipment that went bad) and continue to add on years to your contract. We upgraded our service in July 25, 2023 in good faith with ADT. The installer damaged two walls and broke a mirror on our garage. We were told during the day of the install a claim was filed to repair the damages and we would be contacted in 48 Hours. It is now August 8th. Still no call back. Ive reached out to ADT 5 separate times and continue to get the run around. We want the damages to be fixed. We are seriously considering cancelling the service at this point. They are the worst at customer service. I have been transferred and on hold for 3hours. They a cowards and have zero integrity. ADT has created 2 accounts under my name. I dont **** have an alarm system. They are not even allowed to give you a last name. No should ever have ADT at all.
