My garage ****** never works. When I call it in they want me, a 63 year old disabled veteran to trouble shoot. When I asked them to stop billing me and to take it down they refuse then threatened to send me to collections if I don't pay for it.
*** called a couple of times to get help with moving a camera, always get the same thing that they dont come out here. They never want to send anyone to help with all the problems ive had since the beginning. Its always I need to do it. The most unethical company. Got suckered into a 2yr contract, and then the made it an absolutely nightmare to cancel even after the 2 years. They answer the call for payments or sales very fast, but you can't cancel online and they will put you on a 1hr+ wait on a call. NEVER EVER again!!!
HORRIBLE company in every sense!!!!! The products do not work and ADT does not care. And their customer service is THE WORST!!! Never had anything to do with such a useless ridiculous company. We are getting OUT of our contract with this terrible company. Our system has not been working properly for 8 months and they do not give a hoot. I bought an ADT home security system six months ago. The alarm and motion sensor parts of the system have worked well since day 1. However, the wired in doorbell stopped working after two months, and the front camera has never worked consistently.I have called and emailed at least 20 times to no avail. They just refuse to fix their product!Their systems are not inexpensive, and I was referred by others who said they are the best home security system. Absolutely despicable make my 85 year old. Parents sit on hold for 60 minutes to cancel the service. Get all his information and verify his identity and password then transfer him to the cancellation department for another 45 minutes hold. Well now I sent a stop payment to the bank. Should be illegal to make it so hard to cancel a ADT Service.well now you can pay a chargeback fee.
If you ever try to cancel, They make you jump through hoops. You are promoted to select the reason for your call and they purposely put you on a never ending hold for cancellation. Oh and you can only cancel Monday through Friday, You knowwhen most people cant afford to stay on hold for hours while working.
I was never told I had a 3 year contract. I was told it was a 1 year contract. My cameras have not worked properly since a month after the system was installed. Im now told I have to pay to have someone come look at the cameras. I cant cancel my service thats basically worthless now because Im not paying to have the installation fixed. Do not use ADT.
Giving one star is too much!! They lock you in a ridiculous contract and tell you that you can have a balance before they send a technician out to fix the camera. once you pay off your balance, They still dont want to schedule a Technician to come out now they want to schedule for virtual appointment. Its just ridiculous. I still have to pay you and now no one wants to come out and look at my system. Sucks!!!
