Poor customer service. The hold times are horrible Poor communication among tbe employees. Lack of consistency. They won't tell you about added cost I have called at least 10 times related to billing and service since May of this year.
I cancelled my service for problems that kept repeating without getting solved. I did the phone appointment with them and couldn't open the box with the battery because I didn't have a small enough screwdriver to fit in it. They wanted me to pay $65 for a service call which I refused. I have had this same problem in the past which required a battery disconnect one time and a battery replacement the second time. This company is a scam. They told me I had 30 days and they confirmed 30 days to return and get a refund. Turns out its only a 3 day return policy on contract. Their website saids 30 days the guy said 30 days but the contract they put 3 days. They did not install the correct equipment and I have to climb mountains to get that refund which I still have not gotten. The company will avoid addressing issues and put you on a long waiting hold. I finally called to terminate services and again was put on an eternal hold multiple times as this process requires several transfers. I think it's their way of manipulating not terminating as they make it impossible to get to have you reach their last phase. Your needs are a joke to them. They only want to keep billing. They are also not professional at all. Truly disappointed
The rude sales/solicitations. I just bought a brand new house and as soon as I could had a no solicitations sign on the front door at eye view. Since the sign went up Ive still had 3 ADT sales people knock on my door. One of them was almost at 8:30pm and woke up my child and terrified me because of the frantic knocking and door bell ringing. The blatant disrespect of wishes to be left alone is enough for me to NEVER use ADT. Im disgusted with this companys disrespect and the sales reps *********** to trespass.
Weve had our ADT security system for a little over a year now, and weve mostly been pleased with our service. At times however, weve had difficulty with the doorbell camera and had to call them out to replace our current one. We didnt have a problem doing that, but we Just wanted to give a shout out to ***************************, the ADT pro who came out to do the job - he was awesome! My installation process with ADT has been reasonable enough, although their system is needlessly complicated. My real issue is that their customers support is awful and their sales team are liars. I was sold incorrect replacement hardware twice (despite the reps being able to clearly see what equipment was on my account), and getting a return processed took me weeks of calling to ask basic questions and them not following up. SCAM when trying to return, inability to cancel account yet keep billing. Need to return and get passed from department to department and on hold for hours then they call after hours stating "cant help now as closed" Seeking refund and need to return they unopened unused product.
Yeah so I ve called them multiple times so fix the precedent issues with their equipment they keep sending new replacements and the issues continue and they state they would cancel the contract a failed to do so this company has worst customer service and worst ********************** products for home unreliable
